If you are real, you are the blessing I am looking for. I am a single mother of 5, work 40+ hours a week and am caretaker of my alzheimers mother. I am $3000 behind on my housenote. Once you get behind, it is almost impossible to catch up on a set income because there is no extra to put towards the issue AND continue to put food on the table and keep your other utilites on, especially if something in the house breaks, like a sewer line, or your only vehicle. Life is hard sometimes, I realize that. My prayer is just for a break to catch up. If I get caught up..I can hold my own. Anyway, thanks for listening. But I had to sell all my gear and leave that behind for a while after my ex girlfriend tried to kill me when I found out she was part of a coven that was drugging me and sexually abusing me with her friends for entertainment. The shock of almost being murdered by someone I loved and finding out what she had been doing to me was too much, I spent two weeks in a psych ward and was unable to get my shit together enough to take care of myself, it completely destroyed me for a while. If you have millions of dollars and are willing to just give away five thousand dollars like that, that is very generous of you. However, you should choose a hard-working group in your community that is helping the other people around you and give them the money. They won't fight you for/over it or hate you for giving it elsewhere; they will be thankful and you will have done something very awesome, indeed.

Many posters here have become bloodthirsty and highly competitive to the point of anger over a mere five grand, so I now address those who have chosen to do so- five thousand dollars is a lot of money and a lot could be done with that in our personal lives, but is it enough to bribe you into turning against your fellow people in such a negative way? We're not here to be pissed off constantly, hate each other, and fear everything... quite the contrary. Every choice has a consequence, whether positive or negative, and the words you say and the thoughts you harbor are choices being made.

Well, mine has been a very complicated and difficult situation for the last few months. My son and I were forced to move back in with my ex husband, his father due to the fact that I lost my job where I worked for 15 years. They closed. I have had gigs here and there but sadly, nothing consistent. I have been in the restaurant service industry for over 20 years. We have been here for about 7 months now and now my ex is telling me that I have to be out soon, actually he wanted us out a couple weeks ago, and he wants our son to stay with him even though we have equal joint custody, has been half the week with him and half with me. I need to get out of here very soon, as it has been miserable and the clock is ticking. Oh, and my credit is shot because of the divorce, and it would be very difficult to find anyone to rent to me, even if I was working steadily. I would be eternally grateful for your help...

i have been in contact for some time now with a woman in her mid-thirties who claims to be stranded in Amsterdam and is starving there as she has no work permit or means to get to the USA. I know a lot of answers are like mine. I am suffering so much. I believe in karma I would like to help myself so I can help others. I am working a part-time job that used to be full-time because my boss feels he needed to save more money. I now am on the brink of being homeless. December 1st could be the day I face being homeless. I am not scared. I will continue to laugh and smile. I work so hard and was getting paid 55k here in Northern Va. The cost of living is outrageous. I didn't expect to get a pay cut to $13.50 per hour. My landlord knows I am not irresponsible. I got a second job to supplement that but is part time and less hours. Plus I am in college. I have been trying to do anything, Mcdonalds and the spanish people said because I am an American with a degree I am over qualified. That is discrimination yet they hired hispanics with no papers. It was cool I didn't hate them. It is wrong. I am buddhist so I channeled that anger to helping others find peace. I have cried so much I thought I was less of a man. I am a single father and refuse to give up. Some people turn to crime, others kill themselves. I just continue to make people laugh hard so I forget my own hell so they can feel heaven. This is my first post to this site. $5000.00 could help me pay this months rent and next so I can catch up. I don't spend money unwisely or waste money. I don't want my son to see me live in my car. I do advertising and marketing for two companies. The position should pay 75-80k for the amount of work I do website management, getting new leads, magazine ads, government contracts, customer service basically the foundation of sustaining the business for new business growth. The rest of it I will save to use to help other kids I try to stray from the streets. I dealt with it as a kid. Crime doesn't pay! It doesn't. I need some help because I have a teenager that has multiple sclerosis. Her meds are expensive and I took her for alternative therapy and pay $300 a week for treatment and my saving ran out now. Anthing helps. I would also use some of it to help my family that are struggling too.

I personally think you get off on the fact that people are literally begging you in the first place. How long has it been since you have posted this? Probably turns out that just about everyone on here who has posted could use the 5 grand.

I'm in a band and want to sink the full 5k into it.

I'm broke, personally - and could do a lot of things with it like a new car, bills - hell, even a place to live as right now I'm sleeping on a hard wood floor at my grandmas, but my band is a big deal. That's where every messily penny I earn goes towards. We have a unique take on music, and intend on making it big and influencing people to change the world. Our music is very jazzy - but agressive rock as well. It truly doesn't fit in any existing genre except maybe experimental rock. There is a lot of hip hop and punk and metal and folk and indie influence as well.

My guitarist is one of the best musicians I've ever seen - and I've seen tons of bands, I used to book shows so I have a lot of experience. He truly has a gift. It's a blessing working with him. He knows his music theory inside out. He writes amazing rhythms and plays them all finger picking - faster than any guitarist with a pick - yet he understands contrast and can keep it simply and beautiful.

The thing is, we're all broke - especially him - he plays with a broken amp and a cheap $200 guitar - and he has a baby on the way. Music is his destiny - and we will make it big with or without your money. But with your money, you would not be forgotten - you would be creating a legacy for yourself.

With the money, we will buy him new gear, me a new bass amp, and a PA system so we can start playing shows and help support the economy here. Then we can raise our own money for a self-recorded album. We can provide a lot of positive energy for this community, and later on - for the world.
