Lets lay it on the line. I am retired. Veteran. Disabled. Live in Arizona. Doing comfortably. $5000.00 sounds great. I have no outstanding debts. I have done a lot of things. I have had money. I have had no money… but if I had 5 Gs I would be able to spend more time on my writing. Take a couple of road trips to see some of this great country I have yet to see. (Been half way around the world but have only seen a portion of the ’48.’) Oh yes, proceeds from the book, if published, would most likely end up being used to repay the gift to someone else who would need – not want – but need it.
