Please people stop with the immature comments, There are people who need the money out there like myself who would work for it, I put in at least 10 applications in a day I also have a 2 year old who I take with me when I WALK 10 miles one way just to fill out applications, I have no car, I fear as if I will lose my house soon, and I think the worst is yet to come if I dont do something. I also take care of my disabled father who has heart problems, My son and I walk 8 miles one way just to get his medicine. I also stop to ask for yard work or house work on the way home from filling out applications and picking up meds. Please if you really are a multi millionaire please help me, I need some way out, and 5,000 is a lot of money... It can do alot of good for a lot of people, I just need 1,000 to buy a car. then you can send the other 4,000 to others who also truly from the bottom of their hearts need it like I do. If I was ever a millionaire I would do exactly as you are, please keep up the good work. You will be rewarded.

Like a lot of people in this economy, bills started piling up all at once, our daughter started college, my job was downsized, property taxes went up. Before we knew it, we were in a hole. $5000 would go a long way of getting us back on our feet. I work at a Christian school, and want to spend more time coaching and being a role model for our students and not have to worry about my financial situation. Thank you for offering this money. I would take the money and leave my lying, cheating, know it all, abusive husband and go back home to my family on the other side of the country and start my life over closer to my family who I havent seen in over 10 years. I left home to get married and eventually moved to where he was from with him on the terside of the country, things are obviously no working out so I would leave, my family and I dont have the money for me to do this but with 5,000 I would be able to do just that...go home and start over.

If there were one generous soul on GLP that had money to help out someone that needed it, I hope that would be me and my family. I would not need 5000 dollars, because I never ask for more than what is necessary. I am needing just enough to get a vehicle that will accomodate a wheelchair. My son has Muscular Dystrophy and I can't take him anywhere that requires him to walk. I have a car but I can't put his chair in the back it won't fit and is very heavy. I would like just enough for a used van that I can have it outfitted with a ramp. I have tried saving up, but it is very hard when you have three boys and are on a fixed income. I would like the $5,000 for a memorable life experience. I currently have a girl that is vacationing in Spain for many months. I would love to be able to take vacation, and travel the stretches of Europe with her. By supplying me with $5,000 I would be able to pair it with my own personal savings for this trip, and have the trip of a life time! Something like this may not even be possible in the near future with the way the global economy, and the world is going. I'm being absolutely honest on what I would do with the money, I'd be willing to take and send you pictures every step of the way. I myself am an entrepreneur, but being so young in a down economy I'm still in the process of establishing my fortune in life.

Well I'm 18, unemployed and recently gave birth to a perfectly healthy boy. The father is currently searching for a job, and so I have to live with my parents. It isn't the best environment for my son, but I have no other choice. I would rather live here, then with my boyfriend's parents. We are living on welfare, and have to brave through the everyday trudge that is living with my parents. 5,000 could afford my son "Aidan," diapers for the next year or so [until my boyfriend finds a steady job], more clothes that can fit him, a nice playset to help with his posture, and if there is any money left I would take him to a once in a lifetime trip to Disney [in california]. I would economize every last dime of that money. If I ever had a million, or let alone 500. I would ration it right down to the very marrow. I'm not going to beg you, but I saw that you were offering this generous amount of money to someone in need. I could say give it to someone in poverty living in an unsafe indigenous society. But I think everyone could use that kind of money. 5,000 wouldn't be enough for Aidan to grow up on, but it would definitely kickstart our lifes. I would appreciate if you'd ponder my comment, and everyone elses. I'm not sure how your coming to a decision, but i'm going to be honest and hope that you consider me.
