I am a 61 year old woman who just was released after 5 years being incarcerated for doing a very selfish and wrong crime: taking money from my past employer. I have been getting my life together as best as I can After 7 months I have finally been approved for Medicaid (am a 3X cancer patient and have many health issues). I was very happy to receive Medicaid. I was approved to receive $473 per month from ssi and am awaiting disability. However, I was sent a letter stating that I qualify for my medical part of disability requirements but do not qualify for the non-medical portion. I now have to go to a lawyer. There is no way I can find housing with only qualifying for $473 and food stamps. I am a very spiritual person, go to a Methodist church and women's groups weekly, but I don't want to let people in my church know I need help financially. I have always been the person to give to everyone and used to earn $65K a year. Wow, have I learned my lesson after 5 years in prison. I honestly need help paying for rent so that I can live in a safe place. I would even share a room but in my area $450 a month for a room rental is not enough. If you could help me, I would appreciate it. I walked out of prison with not a penny in my pocket, no where to live and no food. The woman I am living with has to move as she is selling her home. I take care of my disabled mom she has had 6 spine surgeries now the last one they messed her up really bad of course we had to use a tencare doctor instead of hers. my father works about of town 80 hours a week walking 20miles of cable a day my young son is a genius he is two and knows everything for kindergarten plus some light physics he thanks GOD for everything and helps people we give to homeless i take him to occupy here and there he is strong like an ox, my husband has graduated aviation mechanics school but because of obama and his drone program the jobs are quickly disappearing unless you want to join. recently life has just been hard i have so many ideas one being getting people from religion and with God because where i came from a wife and a husband pray together and these relationships last a lifetime. i make completely natural from Amish goods renound cookies i cant even let them cool and i dont mean good i can send you some. i pray and sing while i cook when they are done i give them out to people and all i ask is that they take a second and pray with me i teach you dont need a church or steeple you dont need a pope or pastor. you need a bible and your temple . i know this sounds maybe to religious to some who have harden hearts where a person representing GOD so they say judged you didnt show kindness or mercy. GOD is love and taking care of others so someone can take care of you i remind people of this so those religious chains in this world will stop holding people back. Hello, I will tell my story with no expectations as I have learned to expect nothing then anything after that cannot hurt me. My wife Emily was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer November 25th 2011, we spent all of 2012 dealing with first chemo, then surgery to remove both breast and then radiation to burn the area to kill everything. This process started January 11th, 2012 and was completed September 10th 2012. January 10th 2012 we put put our 5 son is a place called Isabel's House while Em had a port inserted into her chest so she could receive the Chemotherapy. Our three younger sons, Emilio, 6 months, Javin, 2 and Evan, 4 were eventually put up for adoption because the doctors told us my wife would not make it. the families were all from our church and another church in town. This was a very sad moment in our lives. My wife did recover from the cancer and will be coming up on 1 year cancer free. We have our 2 older sons still living with us; Nikilas 7 and Spencer 6. My wife still cannot work due to the surgery and medications she still takes and major depression from the entire ordeal. I work at a behavioral hospital on an adolescent boys unit and was injured during an attack by one of the boys. Workers Comp will not pay me and we are about to lose everything. I Have to have shoulder surgery June 5th but cannot because it will be months before I can return to work or even find another job.

5000.00 would pay all my bills and perhaps take care of the next months bills. I have tried for loans but if I am not working then I cannot pay it back so they all say no. I am at the end of my rope and have nowhere to turn for help. I promised my wife a Disney trip this year as a way to put 2012 behind us but that fell through the instant I got hurt.

If my story moves you to send any portion of the 5000.00 you are offering that would be a huge blessing. If not at least pass on to others the devastation cancer does to a family. thank you for hearing my story all of which I can prove with Doctors reports and court papers for adoptions that we were not able to stop once they began and we found out my wife was going to live.

I can not begin to tell you how much it will help our family. My husband found out in March of 2013 that he has a Pineal Cyst in the Pineal Gland of his brain and just shortly found out that he has degernative disk disease. We have no life savings and have exhausted what little money we did have. We was living from pay check to pay check when he was getting to work, and now that he is recieving a short term disability check it only pays 60% of what he was making we don't have enough to covers the doctors visits, meds, insurance that is past due fixing to cancel, food for our kids, rent, utilities, and gas to go to all the doctors visits. I would use the money to move. My 9 months old daughter and I are cooped up in a room together. I would also love for my daughter to have her own rooom too mess up. But i would also use some of that money to help pay my mothers friends husbands funeral cost. He recently passed. And last but not least. I would use some of the money to have a wonderful 1st birthfay party for my daughter. Her birthday is september 16.
