Sadly I have read a lot of abusive responses to this post.
Now I have no idea whether you are really a millionaire giving a gift of money to some need y soul. You could be simply running an ex[eriment to see what kinds of responses you'll get. it's not for me to judge, merely to respond to your question.
I am a grandmother with a grand child in the foster care system. I would like to petition for custody, as I fear he may become lost in the system, lost to me forever, and I lost to him forever.
But I live in a one bedroom highrise apartment and I am wheelchair dependant, living on a small, fixed income. Because of this the department of children's services has deemed me unable to take custody. my doctor refutes their clam that my medical condition would preclude me from being able to care for him, but they also site the size of my home as a deterrant. I would love to find a two bedroom house or apartment that is both wheelchair accessable and affordable, but low income housing choice grants are nearly impossible to obtain.
so why do I deserve $5000? Because I love deeply and would give wholeheartedly to tis child who is about to lose everything familiar to him.
