Scientists say Turin Shroud is supernatural - Brand-new research from Italy | |

Quoting: BRIEF Maybe one day in my lifetime they will prove that you can't get something from nothing proving scientifically that the Atheists are wrong and the creationists are indeed correct... Well, how do you explain a god... since you can't get something from nothing, where did 'god' come from? He is the creator...the circle/hoop that has no beginning or end...from his creation all things were made, including the laws of physics... Well, at least you admit your argument is circular. No use in continuing to discus further. |

WildHoney, the sample you refer to gave a false carbon dating timeline because it had been heavily handled by pilgrims. So what was actually tested was not just the cloth, but bacteria from countless hands. scottish, british, european but first of all Human. Even this is not true. After years of work trying to replicate the colouring on the shroud, a similar image has been created by the scientists. However, they only managed the effect by scorching equivalent linen material with high-intensity ultra violet lasers, undermining the arguments of other research, they say, which claims the Turin Shroud is a medieval hoax. Such technology, say researchers from the National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (Enea), was far beyond the capability of medieval forgers, whom most experts have credited with making the famous relic. "The results show that a short and intense burst of UV directional radiation can colour a linen cloth so as to reproduce many of the peculiar characteristics of the body image on the Shroud of Turin," they said. And in case there was any doubt about the preternatural degree of energy needed to make such distinct marks, the Enea report spells it out: "This degree of power cannot be reproduced by any normal UV source built to date. Occam's Razor, morans! |

Quoting: wildhoney if someone could have undeniably debunked it, it wouldve happened by now. it's real. when i look at it, i'm seeing our creator. amazing. and it was preserved through Faith alone..no one had any technology to determine wether it was for real or not..but they saved it and kept it whole till today because they believed.. the message was for now..when we could test it and see what they couldnt before its amazing in so many implications in my opinion..not only spiritual..scientific..evolutionary a wonderful gift from Christ to us He didnt have to..He did because He loves us |

malfunkshun007 User ID: 1546982 United States 12/20/2011 01:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | One of the Sturp team, Barrie Swartze, went there expecting to look at the shroud, declare it a fake and go home. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1509906 30 years later, he says that he sees no other explanation than the shroud is the burial cloth of Jesus Christ. Even more freaky? Barrie is Jewish. So? It doesn't mean he acknowledges Jesus as the messiah. I don't think jewish people deny his existence... but that we wasn't who he claimed to be. youre right. but if He was then it goes agianst a lot of their beliefs. that is why they would NOT want this shroud to be supernatural. look i have talked to a lot of people about this subject and i have found there are a few things that keep people from believeing or following Christ. one is that they have been offended by the church or a christian or they just dont want to stop living the life they are living. they are affraid of the sacrafice they believe would be involved in living a life for God. the other is that they have educated themselves out of the ability of possesing faith without proof. it isnt that they deny Jesus was a person. or even a great teacher. but they have trouble believing in the resurection because that is what seperates Him and makes Him who He claimed to be. the son of God. i mean science and religion really go hand in hand much more than either side chooses to believe. the problem is that religion has faith in the miraculous and science wants proof. but unfortunately there is no device that could ever be created that will measure the miraculous. if there was there would be no arguments over this subject. i have talked about this before but it makes me laugh that people on this site can discuss aliens, NWO, 9/11 truther info and military underground bases full of reptilian people but fly the BS flag over anything that may lean to proving the exsistance of God. so i guess my point to this rambling is that a Jewish scientist would naturaly have a biased opinion entering experimentation. it would put the burden of proof on the claims of forgery and an explanation as to how this could have happened other than proving (or at least implying) the resurection. but in remaining professional he came to the conclusion it was not a forgery. wouldnt it be incredible if we could all be so open minded about this topic. or any topic as far as that goes? All morons hate it when you call them a moron. People always think something's all true. It's funny. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7013991 "So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the desert,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man" Matthew 24:26-27 See thats the part that makes christians the stupides people on earth. not only does he repeadetly state he is the "the Son of Man", but that "man is sin", in effect stating he is the son of sin, again chronos, again making himself zeus , ja-zeus, the fallen son. Not only this bit but all anchient writings attest to the sons of gods and the sons of men. So why would the son of god, make people say that was who he was, but state he was the son of man, and not god. Thats because he is the devil, you see this again in revelations in who begins setting on the right hand of the throne and who ends there. The throne is in the vatican, look at a map, see who sits where.... |

The same lot of morons who discredit actual science that has proven their theories wrong countless times over, are using psuedoscience to validate the existence of their messiah? Does anyone else see the hypocrisy in all of this, or am I the only person in this thread with a functioning brain? I'm willing to bet that over 90% of the people defending this ridicuoous article have, at one point or another, claimed that scientists are evil deceivers and burriers of truth ON THIS VERY WEBSITE!!! You people are retarded. |
