Fox’s Chris Wallace: If Ron Paul Wins In Iowa, It Will Discredit The Iowa Caucuses
[link to www.mediaite.com] the Iowa caucuses right around the corner, some people are saying that the victor may actually end up being Ron Paul. Yeah, you know, the guy who’s had steady numbers in the polls this whole time despite some people seeming to want to ignore that fact. So, what does that mean if he wins? Well, according to Fox News’ Chris Wallace, it will “discredit the Iowa caucuses.”

Huh. Well, at least people are talking about you Ron.
RELATED: TheGrio Editor Goldie Taylor: ‘Ron Paul Has A Real Shot At Iowa’

Wallace’s comment came during an appearance, from Iowa, on Your World with Neil Cavuto. Cavuto asked Wallace what he thought the takeaway would be from a Ron Paul victory.

“Well, and the Ron Paul people aren’t going to like me saying this, but, to a certain degree, it will discredit the Iowa caucuses because, rightly or wrongly, I think most of the Republican establishment thinks he is not going to end up as the nominee. So, therefore, Iowa won’t count and it will go on.”

There’s a moment, right as Wallace begins to answer the question, where hesitates for a second and then looks right in the camera. In that moment, you can see a man realized he’s about to incur the wrath of half the Internet, think about it, and then proceed to say what he was thinking anyway.

One could say that Wallace just meant it would discredit the caucuses in other people’s eyes, right? Right?

Why should we want someone that has different view? Everyone in America is doing great aren’t they? Isn’t our future looking good? I can’t wait for more of the same track that we have been on. The GOP will put their new favorite McCain type candidate in front again and try to make America think that their pro war, big budget spender, who goes along with the establishment, is what we need. They sure are telling us that we don't have a choice, just look at the consequences they lay out if we elect Ron Paul.

Chris Wallace just discredited himself.

That isn't journalism, it is completely anti-democratic, velvet-fascism.

This asshole Chris Wallace takes advantage of his position as a broadcaster to try and fucking manipulate the people of Iowa by inferring they are too what....stupid?....to select a proper candidate?

How classy is that?

You go on national television and you try and shame people for choosing the candidate of their choice?

Go back to being a broadcaster, not some hack pay-ops wannabe attempting to fracture legitimate grassroots movements, and people trying to actually make a difference.

It is shameful.

I've never cared a whole lot for Chris Wallace. When he speaks, his voice reminds me of the announcers on the old black-and-white police/FBI type movies from back in the 50's. Sort of like a Howard Cosell wannabee, and just about as annoying.

The main thing which irritates me about Wallace is that he is NOT "unbiased" in any respect! He constantly and blatantly touts the Mitt-Newt show, and anyone else is considered to be extraneous and not worth a mention. And for some reason he HATES Ron Paul. If RP were to walk on water and raise the dead, Wallace would still act like he wanted to use a shot of mouthwash after mentioning RP's name.

He and O'Reilly should take a long walk off a short pier. I doubt that either would be missed.

An "Establishment Republican Candidate" would not have any chance of beating Obama. On the other hand Ron Paul has Republican, Democrat, Independents, Libertarians and Constitutionalist voters on his side.

Who in the hell do the talking heads think they are?
They get their marching orders from above,
and those orders are, sandbag Ron Paul.

ANYONE who does not tow the globalist fascist
New World Order line MUST be ridiculed, minimized,
mocked and jeered by the controlled media.

The shills are like cockroaches, even here.

I would vote for Ron Paul just out of spite,
to show the rat bastards that run this world
they can't control everything.

Well said! Shameful is the perfect word for it. All these corrupt, greedy assholes are starting to panic because they know that once Ron Paul becomes a serious contender, then they're just that much closer to losing their free ride. Unfortunately, lobby influence still controls this dying country, and all that power and money will be aimed squarely at the one man who's actually tring to exact some REAL change.

More than anything, I hope Ron Paul wins this fight in Iowa, and starts to build some real momentum. Unfortunately, my lack of faith in the moral fabric of politics in this country leads me to believe that he has absolutely no shot and will be ultimately pushed aside in favor of somebody who prefers to be a puppet for the big spenders.

C'est la fucking vie

Although I dislike all our fake corrupt hierarchies and their corrupt self serving regimes..Just for once, it would be nice to have an honest straightforward person... rather than the usual bullshitting hycrocritical puppet presidents of the last few decades in the states.

Mind you the system is so messed up now..the job will be slow and almost impossible to rectify..even if RP is allowed to ever make it to the helm...of the US economic titanic.

..and yes I know it's the same reality everywhere, including the UK..so I'm not pointing fingers..just stating the obvious.
