Just be who you are, that is all that is needed. Then you will see.

We are "hu" (Godly) - man
 Quoting: 1123581321

A hue is a distinguishable single color within the rainbow. Therefore, we humans are a micro singularity within macro dimensions that we cannot understand. In self-actualization, we experience being the complete rainbow. We all are, as you state it, more than just a single “hu”man. But the purpose of “being” here on this planet is beyond the mind of our mortal mind.

oh this is that Eckankar bullshit. My mum was into this drivel. It's true that the body is just a vehicle, a prison, but the OP leaves out the fact that satan and God can also just hop in anytime they want and operate the vehicle. Possession is as common as muck. These days, obviously satan does most of the posession.

Fibi, agree with you. And, to answer your question, not yet, but I've been working on it for many years. There has to come a oint when we are able to use it properly, or devolve.

Our purpose is not to devolve.

Do animals have eternal souls too?

I think you may be baiting me, but I'll bite. (Pun intended. *smile*)

Yes, I think ALL life, animals, trees, planets, have a higher spiritual self or soul. The difference between us humans and the other forms of life in the universe, is our mission is different from theirs. But, yes, animals have souls/spiritual forms also. All life does.
 Quoting: 1123581321

I think you're right. So, the very first thing I would recommend that humans should do is to have more compassion for animals and stop eating them.

This understanding is only possible if people see all life as derived from higher level spiritual beings. Sooner or later all will find the true path in their own time and at their own pace. Until then, just love them...

All adversaries have their purpose. Hate only begets more hate. We learn from bad experiences just as well as we do from good ones. Experiences are how we become wiser and more loving beings, so if this being Satan exists, he has a useful mission just as I do.

hmm, how do we know the sea change isn't from an impending tsunami?

more to the point, if we're supposed to put so much effort and endurance into preserving the life of the body, then how are our core beliefs any different from the atheists?

why be afraid of entering the spiritual realm before prevailing opinion says it's okay? if only living to a ripe old age meant becoming wise and enabled to live life to the fullest. ever been to a nursing home? life ends for a lot of people long before the clinical death of their body...a fact which the life apologists are forced to give specious, pat answers to, or simply say "we don't know why their souls chose that". as a person on the sidelines watching all this, i find it disconcerting.

do ATHEISTS have this need to "put lipstick on the pig"?? do THEY try to reconcile life and all it's warts with some kind of wonderful gift, that they'll be ecstatic they've received after death? no. so should be pity them or emulate them? I wonder if part of the 'lesson' we're all supposed to learn is that we are all responsible for each other.

Nursing homes are a symptom of a terrible human disease - that we desire to distance ourselves from sickness and dying, instead of nourishing and caring for those at the end of their journey.

Our destiny according to emerging sciences TODAY is one of having total control over the life process itself.

We're still conscious beings living in a material creation, it's a humbling realization to have. To be consciously aware of this and to actively participate in creating what IS, ... we are god.

Peace in your soul so that there will be peace on Earth.

There are several misconceptions here that I will try to address. First, I have no fear or hesitation in leaving this world if that is my path. However, our mission or purpose here is to make the most of this life/experience we are living at the moment. To simply go through life without striving to grow into a better spiritual being is the waste of a life in my view. To abuse our bodies for no other purpose than boredom, hate or anger is also a waste of your time here. It is the tool we need to learn the lessons we came here to learn.

We must begin to realize that the whole purpose of our existence here is to learn from it, We can then begin to understand that is the reason for us to stay alive. If we don't resolve our issues in this life, we will most certainly have to resolve them in the next life. We can never find freedom until we pass this "initiation test". Only those worthy may pass...

yeah it's all new age bs, moral relativism. Eckankar (what the OP is trying to sell yas) was created by an associate of L Ron Hubbard. It requires a percentage of your salary for which it will tell you that you have made spiritual progress. There's a back story of sci-fi saviours but you'll have to hand over lotsa cash before they let you buy their bad sci-fi novels. They whorship HU.

The Truth is not hidden in plain sight. You must first open yourself to the reception of god, which will open you to the reception of christ. Upon accepting christ, you must seek for higher ideals with an open heart and must be willing to sacrifice your ego on the crucifix. (You must first become a fool before you can be wise). Only through christ, which is the light and the way, will you find the information necessary to awaken your true self.

The information can be found in ebooks hidden all over the internet. Only those given the thoughts necessary to find these keys will be able to unlock the kingdom of god which lies within.

How does it help you by ridiculing others? I am only giving my understanding of our reality. If it feels wrong to you, then move on and find your own truth.

Yes, I believe I do, but you really don't want to know what I believe. You want to challenge. Find the path to truth that is right for you.

My understanding of Christ is obviously different from yours and that is completely fine.

I disagree my brother. The point i'm trying to make is that these truths will not be found in plain sight, even to the earnest believer. But one must seek whole heartedly and if his heart is in the right place he will find divine knowledge.

Re: Are you using your avatar/body to it's fullest?
Many, many Wise Ones have reminded us throughout the ages, that we are really powerful spiritual beings that are truly immortal. We were never born and we will never die. Our physical bodies (our avatars) are simply a tool for us to experience this physical reality. Just as we use cars as a tool to allow us to visit new places, we use our physical avatar as a tool to allow us to experience life here in all it's forms. As I said, we can never die, but we can be captured, controlled and imprisoned. Whether we are here on earth as a prisoner or whether we came here of our own volition to learn is inconsequential. The real issue is how do we finish our imprisonment/assignment and fly to greater heights using what we have learned here to be more loving and wise.

Since our real spiritual self can never really be killed, the way we are kept imprisoned is by controlling our mind and by making us forget our spiritual self and into making us believe that this frail, finite avatar is all we are. If we believe that this tool/avatar/body is all we are and that this one life is all there is, we can be completely controlled and we will never escape this prison.

So, what do we do to escape our bondage? We must use the only tool we have available to us, this reality and our avatar, to live life to the fullest. To embrace this reality/prison with a new perspective. To find the reminders/secrets placed all around us in plain sight to remind us of our true heritage. To love our brothers and sisters imprisoned here with us. And to not live in fear and anger. To live like the powerful spiritual beings we really are. Yes, we are truly Gods imprisoned in this physical reality. We need to conduct ourselves as such.

Since this avatar is all we have to use to find our way home, it behooves us to take care of this tool. Even though we cannot ever really die, if we lose this avatar before we find the Truth, we will have to start over again with a new avatar and we will forget all that we have learn in this life. So, we need to live long enough in this avatar to learn how to break free from this reality and to return home in victory. So, we need to protect this avatar as much as possible just as we maintain our cars to allow us to travel to new places.

I hope this makes some sense to a few here. Many will consider this post as nonsense. If you consider this reminder as nonsense, then enjoy your imprisonment...

Peace,
Fibonacci

Re: Are you using your avatar/body to it's fullest?
Once you change your perspective of life on this planet and realize that we are not this physical body and that who we really are is spiritual and immortal, the way we view life here changes completely. We begin to see that this is all a game of experiences. It is a place where pain, ecstasy, suffering, joy, sickness and money are just experiences to learn from. Since who we really are can't really die, we no longer have anything to fear.

Once we come to grips with this perspective, things like politics, governments, ambition, money and all of the other entrapments have no meaning. Our goals change, our view of life changes. Love, compassion and truth become your only desire.

It changes everything, once you change your understanding of life here. It really is about perspective...

Thanks, very nice thread,Fib.folks like you keep me coming back to sort through the mighty huge mass of GLP postings in search of a kindred spirit...

I do enjoy my Avatar/body to it's fullest..Took me 50 yrs to learn to listen to and appreciate it. And just took a lot of pain and almost dying for me to pay attention and take care of it lovingly.

Was worth every moment of struggle and I had to hang on by my fingernails to stay in this body. So I am certainly not going to give up at this late date and forget what I have learned. Another childhood does not appeal to me..too long to wake up.

Pretty much agree with you about staying here as long as possible and the rest of your post in general.

And yes, the birds remember and know us for who we are. They even know our Original names, if we have the ears to listen.

Not that I have my ears on straight, yet. But I have had 3 independent sources confirm my original name..The first 2 heard my name from the birds singing about me. The third got a picture from her guides and asked me about it.

Kinda wish folks would use more names here, I don't have the best memory for numbers..At least I have a feel for who's writing and their intent to guide me.
