no I woudn't be in the city for sure. Either go over the montains to eastern Washington or head across 520 or I90 bridge and get on the other side Bellevue area ect. For sure get away from the water ways and inlets.
If he or she has this could of running with predictions I would take notice and prep anyhow.

I agree with the new moon and the timing for a large quake but I don't know about remote veiwing or dowsing

Had a dream/vision of a PNW eq right after a good friend told me he was moving to Seattle. I was viewing it from above and it was horrifying, land moving up & down, volcanic action also and tsunami. Hills/mtns. became valleys and valleys became mountains and the whole coastline sunk! When I had the dream I didn't know anything about the area or of the Juan de Fuca subduction zone. Have studied it since.

He didn't move there because was offered a like job in an area he liked better - didn't like all the rain & gray PNW days. But the move to PNW had seemed a sure thing for him and that is why I think I had the dream/vision. I call it a dream/vision instead of just dream because it was so damn real! I woke up with the sweats and terrified!

Some of the seismologists think it will either happen during an ETS event (the slow,nonvolcanic eqs they have every 14 months) or during a swarm of eq's on the subduction zone which happens periodically.

The ETS came early this year in August. But looks like the subduction zone has a couple of 4's as OP stated - offshore Oregon & Queen Charlotte Islands plus map shows a few tiny ones offshore(but close to shore) Cali & Oregon. A yr. or two ago there was a swarm of 13 eqs all up and down the subduction zone (2 of which were 5's) over a period of a week and a half. That swarm made me nervous.

The seismologists also say a large probability of next 50 yrs. So hopefully it will be later than sooner so that the area can have time to retrofit their infrastructure which they are working on and get the people more prepared also.

I'm a trucker from Vancouver Island, I leave Los Angeles tonight with a load for Vancouver, so guess when I get there? Dec.22nd, and of course it will be time to get on the ferry to return to the Island after that, so now I have to worry about bad drivers, traffic, earthquakes and tsunamis, Merry Christmas. I read after the Japan quake that when earthquake happens at the subduction zone of the Juan De Fuca plate, it will cause a massive tsunami that will hit the west coast within 15 minutes, and also go straight across to Japan and other Asian countries. At least I already sent money home for Christmas gifts, even if I don't make it.

I sold that website.

Damn, made me remember something.

Years ago whilst riggin backspars and falling trees I almost went down in a chopper, this was up Rivers Inlet. The fog was so thick you couldn't see 30 feet, I was in the back seat of the Huey 500d and the pilot nailed the tail rotor on a branch or limb or something, I bailed out with this nother guy and the chopper did about eight rotations and made a hard landing on a road about 1km away. We walked down the hill and I swore never to get in another helicopter again.

I caught a ride with Log truck, a big Hayes, well shag me shirley...this driver was popping bennies and told me to keep my hand on door handle ready to jump. He had 153 cubic meters of logs. We traversed 11 switch-backs on the way down, there was no way he stop the truck... it would just bounce and slide on the washboard... he had to let it run and use the Jake and gears to slow. The ride in Log Truck was worse than the damn chopper....should never have got out of the boat that morning.

I dont want to wake to a quake because the first thing that will come to mind is your 'dude with tits' avatar... ugh

Well thanks for the vote of confidence, I just hope the prediction equals the one on the new orleans post, you said we would get hit in September. I'm in a highway truck, not many log haulers bring a load from L.A. to Vancouver,hahaha! I know we have one coming just hope I;m not in the middle of it.Where do you live? Are you in a safer place? My house is high in Campbell River, hope II get home first.

just make sure your prepared we live with the threat of a quake like this happening everyday we also have Mt. Rainier this is just the normal everyday adventure we have living in the pacific north west.
Anywhere you live you have risks from nature, midwest Tornatos, and also quakes east side Hurricanes ect. Just need to be prepared, we have had large quakes before.
