This guy has a great blog about what's happening in Japan (and America! as the radiation is affecting us as well). Looks like he's moved to another country after becoming sick himself. I've seen lots of weird vegetables over the years. Ones that look like they have noses, ears, or have multiple stems or other weird parts. Believe it or not, it's perfectly natural. Someone at my local farmer's market even had a male and female tomato. I don't have a picture, but we joked about doing a vegetable porn calendar.

CHIMERA - I don't think that the author understands how chimeras come into being. Radiation isn't involved. Look up I am my own twin, it's kinda twisted. (Imagine failing a DNA test for your own child, because your body has two sets of DNA.)

since when does radiation mutate vegetables......you people are really getting desperate now.

You know, I definitely believe that TEPCO has a special place in the seventh ring of hell for what they've done to Japan and the world, but I'm not sure if the veggies shown are due to radiation. Like another poster said, weird-looking produce isn't that unusual...I've had quite a few mutants in my garden. Of course, they could be weird because of radiation, but I don't think it's a definite. Just my 2 cents!
