The guy in this video, his name is Bhagavan. This happens to be a Sanskrit name. The Orangutan's name Surya is also sanskrit.
In the Vedas, which are in Sanskrit, a Jiva is the immortal essence of a living organism (plant, fish, animal, humans) which survives physical death. The word itself originates from the Sanskrit Jivas, with the root jiv- 'to breathe'. The Latin word Vivus: "alive" comes from the Sanskrit Jivas.
Just like you and me, these two animals are living beings who will survive physical death to inhabit another body, perhaps even a human body in which they can learn to love God which is the perfection of the Human life, after which you never inhabit a material body again.
