Sorry but if you are taking in 500 calories a day, you will lose weight. You need at least 1200 - 1500 cals/day just to go about your daily routine. so you are already working with negative calories and wasting away muscle to lose pounds. You are losing the wrong pounds though.

I can't imagine eating only 500 cal a day. I'd probably faint. Plus, won't you just gain all the weight back when you stop the HCG diet?
