You're just jealous...LOL... I can't believe that HCG has for me... Its really quite amazing.. and I do also have a thyroid condition which my dr. swears has NOTHING to do with my weight. |

Human placenta protein is not a weight loss enhancer. FDA already banned it once and is doing so again. Compliment me with something my father would laugh at and my mother would believe. Well there you have it, the FDA banned it, that mmust mean it is not good, because they are really concerned about our health and welfare(if you can't tell this is sarcasm) |

You need at least 1200 - 1500 cals/day just to go about your daily routine. so you are already working with negative calories and wasting away muscle to lose pounds. You are losing the wrong pounds though. |

Now, I can eat normally (about 2000 cal), and I'm not gaining any weight back. I can't imagine eating only 500 cal a day. I'd probably faint. Plus, won't you just gain all the weight back when you stop the HCG diet? |

Girl Genius User ID: 1133676 United States 12/22/2011 01:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | +1 I lost weight with hCG a few years ago and never gained it back. Just weigh daily and if the weight creeps up, cut the carbs for a few days. Oodles of people have lost on this diet and there are no reported side effects, yet it is banned. Why? Could it be that big pharma and mainstream medical are losing customers? All my lab results went from off the charts to optimal. PS, you can still get it over the Internet from overseas companies (for now). For nothing is secret that will not be revealed… |

The FDA is the MEGA scam--- it works only for big pharma and not for you or me... The FDA loves to see americans overweight--nice cash flow on diabetes and other illnesses for many years. The great thing about the HCG is that it suppresses appetite for the 40 days you are on it... Itw working for me--- sorry you can't be happy for an obese person who is successful losing weight. |

Quoting: almostoverweight! 2924495 YAY! The Ez HCG drops are really working for me -- with no more daily hour long workouts. I know someone who lost a lot of weight on this but they are now a diabetic.... That's odd. It's usually the other way around. Hard to tell causality without a clinical trial, though. hCG is just not going to make anyone a profit so the FDA tries to discredit it. For nothing is secret that will not be revealed… |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1295588 United States 12/22/2011 02:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | As soon as you go off it you'll gain it all back. 500 calories a day puts your body into starvation mode and will slow the metabolism down. As soon as you eat regular food your body will pack on the fat as it will still be expecting only 500 calories, but you'll eat hundreds of extra calories for your body to store as fat. |

I remember reading one clinical trial but they fed the participants potatoes or something, which isn't on the diet, and there was no significant difference between the groups, of course. FDA will never approve this miraculous approach to weight loss. It's a shame. The effect was discovered in the 50s. For nothing is secret that will not be revealed… |

Quoting: Kharnifex a single 5 layer burrito from taco bell is 540. a single mcdouble from mcdonalds is like 350 unless your eating nothing but green veggies you can't even feel full in a single meal with 500 calories. You skip breakfast... have meat, veg, and fruit for lunch and dinner with a couple bread sticks. There is a list of acceptable foods and yes the calories are very restricted. But here's the good part... the drops stimulate your body to release stored fat. You are not living off of 500 calories... many more than that are burned. Fat stores are used. You are not starving. You lose the desired weight from the hips, thighs, and stomach. If you go on a 500 calorie diet without the drops... you go into a starvation mode. You do not burn fat calories and you are hungry all the time. You also lose muscle. You will also see it in your face. You will look ill. To put it bluntly... IT WORKS. I lost 32lbs doing it twice and am very pleased with the results. But if you think that you can go back to eating crap like McDonald's then don't even bother. The diet is designed to get you to eat healthy. The later phases add in healthy food and a reasonable calorie total. Its a life changing diet. |
