Re: 100% Something's Going Down At Pelican Cone (Yellowstone)..Update 15 (05/09/12) BEFORE 3.7 MAG, RADAR SHOWING PLUMES
Pardon my ignorance, but other than affecting people locally or even regionally....both which of course would be horrible, are there any doom implications on a grander scale? What exactly could we expect with a Yellowstone earthquake?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1336632

If a significant enough earthquake were to strike the Sour Creek dome, the results could be mild or catastrophic. A good quake could crack the dome and result in a volcano being formed by magma pushing up to the surface through cracks or in a worst case scenario, cause Yellowstone to erupt. Yellowstone erupting would be an ELE. Trillions of tons of volcanic ash, debris and gas would be propelled into the atmosphere, much of the finer material would reach the upper atmosphere. What would follow is the blocking of the sun and it's warming radiation for many years. It would be a global event and there would be no place to hide from the ice age that would follow. In other words, it would be the end of the world as we know it. It could go at anytime, nobody really knows when exactly.

Major Drop in Solar Activity Predicted leading possibly to a new ice age.
Thread: ***MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT RE: SUN'S 11 YR SUNSPOT CYCLE - MAJOR DROP IN SOLAR ACTIVITY - POSSIBLE ICE AGE??**

I think after this was announced, there was conflicting stories that this would not happen. Now NASA has surveyed Yellowstone and found some anomalies at Yellowstone, do you think this could be connected. Just thought I'd throw it in when you talked about an Ice Age. On the Solar Watch Thread too, hasn't there been talks about CMEs possibly causing earthquakes etc and that having an effect on Magma movement??

it's callde "ash, and you shall receive"
the 1st sentence is..

"for 3 days, an impenatrable dark, ash fog hung over the region, cutting off radio communication and obliterating even the light of a lantern held at arm's length...."

The sun could set off volcanoes, including Yellowstone. Let's not forget that the sun affects our magnetic field and magma retains magnetism from deeper down inside the earth, so the movement of magma could def be connected to changes in the earths magnetic field and such. They had this sensor offline for 8 years and something caused the reactivation of the Pelican Cone seismograph as well as the 1 at Mt. Sheridan. If there were no activity at these sites, there would be no need to operate the equipment.

it then goes on to say "altitude matters" "how big = how bad, and a map of a few "historic blowouts" that changed the weather around the entire globe. the article is 8 pages long, i think it is the longest in this years almanac(that predicts weather and astronomy for planting crops since the days of our founding fathers.

this is creeping me out.

there is a lot of very freaky stuff in this almanac and an article about venus the morning star and how in 2012 it will be the most bright it will be in our lifetimes.
i hate whenever they say 'the morning star"

Let me also say that I know less then nothing about any of this stuff. However, it occurred to me that if whatever PTB in charge of this did not want us to know about this sensor being put back on, why did they have to put it online when they just as easily could have kept it quiet?

What I don't get is, Why was there no monitoring done in that area for 8 years. Surely being near a dome, you would expect them to have as many sensors near as possible.

With regards to people saying, why would they put it online in the first place. Maybe they have no choice...Pelican Cone is apparently forests with open meadows and I believe most of it is open to the public, it will probably be pretty hard to hide the fact that they are monitoring that area, Things always have a way of slipping out. In a way it is probably easier for them to let us see the information rather than hide it and take the shit. Don't forget, if they tried to hide things then more people (including us GLPers) would make a big deal about things and post the conspiracy shit all over the web.

I worry about Yellowstone doom too and I am a Geotard.

Pelican Cove is a bit NE away of the old caldara, located more to NE if you find a map.

The satellite view doesn't really show me much except one odd thing I did notice.
Find Pelican on the sat map/Google earth a look at a close up of Pelican Cove, now scan more NE and look at all the dead trees. Only on the mound right next to the cove are trees alive, possibly because their altitude is keeping them ouot of settling gases? Beyond the mound next to Pelican Cove looking NE at the landscape it looks really dead and desolate, nothing with leaves, pines are bare sticks many are laying vertical on the ground.

Makes you want to say, Hummmmm.

Hopefully one nice thing will happen to Yellowstone if this things just leaks lava constantly and doesn't blow completely, then we can get some of Hawaii's Lava Flow tourist money coming in. It might be good doom. :)

Holy Shit, Here you go, Ultimate proof there is something going on in Yellowstone, Pull up & look at these 3 graphs side by side and note the times 15:15pm & 19:15pm:

Pelican Cone [link to www.isthisthingon.org]

Mirror Lake Plateau
[link to www.isthisthingon.org]

Madison River
[link to www.isthisthingon.org]

What do you see at them times??? Strong activity at Pinecone is being picked up at Mirror Lake & Madison River on the other side of the park at the exact same time.

Now, look at Pelican at 22:15, notice the burst of energy was picked up at Mirror lake at the exact same time.

Something is brewing people.......

I was reading up on that.
The Government spent something near 5 million to have rangers on horseback in January 2011 to begin herding Buffalo into Montana.
TPTB said that there was a chance of the herd spreading Brucellious (spelling may be off) so they wanted to move the herd.
However slitting the herd into several batches would be they way to go if you want to make sure you have survivors Not herding All of them into Montana together.

Is it really the disease?
Or
Are TPTB just don't want a bunch of grilled steaks on the hoof?

If they kept that herd completely together that tells me it can only be magma & magma gas Doom.

I have not been able to find out if they put the entire herd together as yet, I am still looking. That might be a loose end to their cover up story if they are thinking magma doom and trying to cover it up.

Re: 100% Something's Going Down At Pelican Cone (Yellowstone)..Update 15 (05/09/12) BEFORE 3.7 MAG, RADAR SHOWING PLUMES

Can we tap energy out of a big one like that or if we tangle with it we probably give it a way to erupt?

Has anyone considered the possibility of the seismograph being faulty or other such explanations. Why is it that there is not a twitch on the other drums in the park? I have very little knowledge of geology, but surely if the readings were so great in one particular spot they would be echoed elsewhere?

They are, read my post above or my update on my first post. Activity at Pelican being picked up at Madison River on the other side of the park.

Faulty equipment, wind and noise now all ruled out 100%....
