Wierd things you have seen in the woods.

I looked up stories on the web, and sure enough, there are quite a few accounts of hell hound type entities that have either black eyes or no eyes at all. Not sure if that's what I saw, but I can't imagine what else it would be.

This is a little bit of a weird story, never could quite explain it.

One time I was visiting relatives who live in Washington State near Olympia. I couldn't really find anything interesting to do and had some extra time (family reunion basically started after lunch, that was like the de facto rule). I decided to go hiking in Capitol State Forest which isn't too far outside of Olympia.

I'm just hiking along and observing everything (I'm not from the PNW so it was pretty cool to see how thick the forests were. I'm from a part of the Midwest that is chock full of prairie). I go off the beaten path a little bit but was still on what was obviously a used trail. I'd say it was about 10 am by the time I got to the part of the forest where things got interesting.

I turn around a bend and sitting on a log there are two guys. One is tall, thin but athletic looking, darkish brown hair, pale skin, "distinct" facial features (kind of sharp features and very "European" looking. It's hard to describe but he had an ethnic look to him that I haven't seen before). He was wearing brand new jeans and an expensive looking rain jacket. And sitting next to him is a much shorter and slighter man who looked younger (like he was maybe 17 years old). And he's dressed in a brown uniform that looks like it's from WWII. I was kind of shocked so I stared at the two of them - I was still far enough away that they weren't paying any real attention to me - and see that the small guy has his hair slicked back like they used to do in the 40s and he has a medal that looks like an iron cross around his neck.

As I get closer I hear the two of them talking to each other but I was still more confused about what exactly was going on so I tried to casually look out the side of my sunglasses and since the two of them didn't look drugged out (both looked very intelligent and sharp) I think to myself that I'll just ask them what they're up to.

Me, "so what are you guys up to?"

Taller pale guy, "Nothing important, just enjoying the forest. It's beautiful here isn't it?"

Me, "Yeah, but uh what about your clothes?" (thinking I'm going to get an answer about smaller guy's uniform).

Pale guy starts laughing a little bit, "Well if they get dirty I suppose I'll be the one who gets in trouble."

Smaller guy in uniform, "Yeah it's not a big deal but I hope you have a good day. Make sure not to go too far off the trail."

Then the two of them stood up and walked away.

I kept walking the other way and eventually got back to my car. As I'm getting ready to leave I see the same tall guy but now he's with a young lady. The two are getting in their car. I look at them kind of confused, "Where's the other guy?"

The guy looks at me, "Oh I remember you, there's no one here but us. I don't know what you are talking about."

Me, "I saw someone in an old uniform sitting next to you. He had a medal and a hat on."

The lady looked a lot like the guy in the uniform had but she was a good 6 inches shorter, like she could have been his sister. When I asked about the guy in the uniform she instantly looked very weirded out and hugged the guy who was apparently her boyfriend.

The guy looks at me in a very intense sort of way which conveyed that he obviously wanted the conversation to be over with, "Well no one would believe you even if you did, so you might as well keep it to yourself."

Me, "That's cool I was just wondering what was going on back there. I know I saw a guy in a WWII uniform. He looked a lot like your girlfriend."

Now the lady just kind of buries her head in her boyfriend's chest and is obviously trying to ignore the whole thing. She looked very emotional and had some tears in her eyes. (and I'm thinking to myself, "Damn I must have freaked her out, she probably thinks I'm a crazy guy").

The guy looks at me in a way which wasn't quite as aggressive, "It's best to just let certain things be, we have to go now." The two of them got in their car and sped out of there.

Still don't know what that was all about. Maybe a re-enactment group trying to mess with people but the whole thing gave off a weird vibe.

I got a special wilderness permit to go into an area in the mountains in CA where they hadn't allowed foot traffic in, in twenty years. There were no trails. It was myself and two other Marines and we did it in exchange for seeing if there was a rare kind of trout in the streams up there. I guess the forest service didn't have anyone who wanted to do it. I'm not sure I was set up with this by a friend. Anyway we hiked for two days with no trails using just a map and compass and on the second day we walked around this huge cliff to find a full on cabin with a lawn and solar power and washer and dryer the whole nine yards all built into the rock face of the cliff. You couldn't see it from above so it had gone unoticed for years. We talked to the guy that lived there and he said we were the first people he had seen hike in, in 14 years. He was a retired helicopter pilot and he had flown all the equipment in by helo. He was squatting on federal land and knew it but didn't seem worried. He said he hikes out every two weeks for supplies by a different route then we came in and he showed it to us. We used that route to get back as he had a trail beaten down so the walking was easier. All in all it was pretty cool. The trout the forest service was looking for were in the creeks so it is still closed to foot travel and we never told the forest service about the old helicopter pilot so I would bet he is still out there.

Many people have seen them. They are intelligent and friendly balls of plasma. They like to play with each other and dance in the sky and they love human beings. The ones I saw were translucent. I could see right thru them yet they had a body. It was weird. They were about 40 feet above the land and they looked a little like manta rays. There were three of them dancing and playing with each other.

BTW rods are also plasma beings but they are different in that they form a corkscrew configuration. I have seen rods up close and they are the most amazing of all the plasma beings.

I have a friend who says that they tell him, in his head, to go outside with his camera and film the mountain nearby. He does this and sees nothing. When he slows it down he sees the plasma beings. This happens all the time.

Thats what I mean about having the right conditions. BTW a lot of UFO and ghost sitings are these critters.



Why do you call them "plasma beings" - where did that term come from? What else do you know about them? In what circumstances have you seen them? What do you mean about "right conditions?"

I see a bunch of other people here have had the same experience I did.

Back around 1988, about 10 of us teenagers were walking on a path in the woods just outside the neighborhood. It was one of those fall nights where everything was still, a nice chill in the air, and enough light from the moon to see down the path at least 75 feet.

We got to a point in the path where it bent slightly deeper into the woods when we saw it. There was a glowing green orb, probably 5-6 off the ground, slowly bouncing in the air. We ALL saw it. We ALL said something along the lines of, "What the hell?"

The orb starting moving toward us at a fast rate. EVERY single one of us took off running in the opposite direction. I was pretty fast, so I think I trampled a couple of my friends as I made my way back out of the woods. At that point, it was every man for themselves. LOL.

I didn't look back once I started running, so I don't know how long it chased us. We talked about what we saw and everyone had the same story.

Back then, there was a lot of hoopla about devil worshipers in the woods. We'd found numerous "sites" around the path and deeper woods where we thought people were doing it. We broke down triangle shaped campsites and things like that thinking we were doing good. Chances are the sites were just people hanging out and making fires/smoking/etc, but who knows?

This story makes me very sad. I won't go into it, but that is a very sad story.

Spent years in the woods. Never saw a single "weird" thing.

Anyone who has, is going where other people are.

In the isolated woods, where there are no kids pretending to do magic rituals, there is NOTHING weird.

No orbs, no weird beasts, no changing terrain. Hiking along a public trail and finding bags of feces. This is the weirdest thing in the woods.

Animals having sex that were not the same.

I live in NC and saw Sasquatch in south mountains state park.

I rented a cabin in the woods in Northern California for the weekend. It was a really old cabin, over 100 years old, set in a dark redwood forest. The owner had a cabin next to it. I was in bed about to go to sleep when something came through the window. All I can describe it as is a ball of light and sound but it was alive and buzzing and very menacing. I felt it was warning me to leave and did not want me there.

I was totally weirded out and stayed awake for hours after that reading because I was afraid to go to sleep. Finally, I fell asleep and had a dream about a blonde woman on the stairs of the cabin screaming for help. It was unlike any dream I'd ever had because I really felt the woman's fear and it seemed like a real cry for help and not just a dream.

When the weekend was over I researched that cabin because it used to be owned by a famous family so there were records. It turned out many people had died in the cabin over the last 100 years. I also found out from a friend of mine who lives in the area that the owner of the cabins had been caught secretly filming a couple who stayed there once. That guy had been pretty insistent that I have a glass of wine when I arrived but I declined because I was a single woman and didn't want him to get the wrong idea.

After learning of his weird behavior, the warning from the thing that came through the window and the dream of the girl crying for help I now wonder if the owner was a murderer or rapist or something. I wonder if what came through the window was trying to warn me away. The whole place, those woods and the house, had a very dark and sinister energy.

Actually, you may not know as much about black bears as you think. They don't always run, and sometimes will actively hunt humans. If your dogs were sound asleep, they wouldn't have known. Consider yourself lucky.

If a bear or a cougar is feeding on a carcass, when they temporarily leave, they frequently cover it with sticks and grass to keep other critters off of it. Might have been that.
