This wasn't in the woods, but near it. I 13 or 14 was playing "Manhunt," with friends, which is basically large-scale "Jailbreak." I was out in the pipeline behind my house running from the people who were "it." I finally laid down in the grass and saw a car coming perpendicular to me across the pipeline in road. I realized the lights could tell me if someone was coming so I looked to the right on one of the house's fences. The car turned right onto the road parallel the pipeline, and as it did, I saw the shadow of what I can only say was a wolf with a mane like a horse. I didn't see any actual creature, only the shadow. I saw it for maybe 5 seconds tops and it was gone as soon as the car's lights were out of sight.
