L.A taking my advice I gave in a previous post. Considers sueing occupiers for damages.
I have said all along that they should be held accountable for damages just as anyone else would. According to an entry on the Drudgg report, L.A is thinking of doing just that. Now Oakland is dealing with criminal damage from these creeps. This must stop.

No, not saying that. Just that I had inquired earlier this year that could be a possibility to recoup some tax payers wasted money.

I agree, it's just a shame that so much badly needed money has to be pissed away on it. They can protest all they want, just not at our expense. That sounds fair to me.

Tell me why we as tax payers should not be reimbursed for money wasted on this movement. Protest are ok, but not at our expense.

For the cost of the protest...

Article: A report released Friday estimated the encampment on the City Hall lawn cost the budget-strapped city at least $2.3 million not including the cost to restore the lawn to its original condition.

Police broke up the camp last month and arrested nearly 300 people. An estimated $1.6 million was spent on police overtime.

This is why as soon as the occupy movement threatened black Friday the city’s cracked down on them hard!

You can not cost a city millions and then threaten the city’s biggest tax day of the year. Occupy doomed them selves.

Yeah, demonstrate far away, where nobody can see you, don't touch anything, don't say too much offensive words, just stand still and shut up somewhere outside of town.

That will really be a good protest.

Real protest is about anger and it is almost always destructive.

You must be one of those who think OWS is run by democrats and communist, to start the riots that will make the US tyranic?

So why the hell would they make them pay for damages then? Isn't LA pretty liberal, wouldn't they just be in on it?

These are people whit real grievances about the morgtgage fraud and wars, you let them protest or you help the elite by vilifying them.

Rush told you who OWS is?

If any protest seem like the establishment is controlling it it is the Tea Party. So nice and behaved, listening to elitist puppets like Palin and Donald Trump and Newt. All sold their soul to corporate. So yeah, you are standing with the elite.

My guestimate is that OWS is all kinds of people, from centrist to left, maybe even some conservatives. They all have in common that they see a dangerous inequality gap, a growing supra powerful elite and a subclass doing all the work. It shows them capitalism is not doing what it promised, it needs better rules. They can talk about it, while the Tea Party calls that Class warfare and just seems to get further and further removed from their original Boston Tea Party goal, and that is to stop crony capitalism that brings this huge inequality.

Fox, Rush and all those, they make everybody bipolar like them. On the one hand show the utmost hate for the little (foreign/poor) guy in a spitting and shouting manner and then can completely turn around and act and claim to be very very respectful citizens with outstanding morals.

Destroy the elite but help the elite.
Go for freedom but limit it be giving it to corporations.
Love freedom, but want religious morals enlawed.
Want to have a good economic system, but only believe 'the market will work it out'

It seems very hard to be bipolar like that.

George Soros wants us to be a socialist nation, we don't. SOROS is funding this subversion of America, the greatest nation ever on this planet. We will fight him and his minions to the death to preserve the standards of life we enjoy now. We will not become the third world nation you would like to see us become. Ok, you pay attention now.
You don't live in a socialist nation, and Soros also don't wants that.
You live in a corporate nation.
Your anger just gets steered towards government, while actually big oil pushes for wars, big finance crashes the economy to make a few billions, big food is taking over farming and seeds, and manufacturing is killing chinese workers while making you all jobless.
So to make you infective in stopping their prectices, or even help them do it, they use corporate media to create this whole myth about communism and capitalist America, just so they have a theory to make you fight for their interest. It is working pretty well, you help reduce their taxes, remove regulations, give up some of your freedoms and give it to them.
They also bring in some scapegoats, like mussies, OWS, mexicans and whatever. Cos they know many people like to feel they belong to a group, so they can use this group need to make people fight other groups or gangs. It also takes the heat a bit of them.

So, now you understand, or you just don't really care about reality and like your exiting version of epic communist and religiuos fights better?

Well, it doesn't really matter, your kind long ago have sold us all out to the corporations and money and signed human value away.
