oh yeah we just hired some new dumbass that's a six sigma, i was like oh black belt, no then the proceeded to tell me, well what an idiot she its, zero common sense, she was telling me one day do what you say and say what you do or some quote like that, and how it was sigma six, she was so proud of her sigma six, and i said, sounds to me like it was a course on common sense, she didn't like that too much. haha

Funny part is that you can't teach common sense, you either have it or you don't and people that take this course and now THINK they have common sense and then really don't and just can't think for them selves are really worse off.

Yep, it's total BS. Same for TQM, 5s and all the other acronyms. You can always spot a company that embraces all of that meaningless crap, because they will have a "mission statement" displayed on the premises. They even have dictionaries to cater for all the management-speak this nonsense generates.

The last company I worked for implemented 6 sigma....what a joke. Productivity, quality and worker pride went DOWN big time. Numbers were manipulated left and right to try to make it look good. When I showed the calculations demonstrating the opposite, I was told "oh. too late now. thanks anyways." Holy hell. glad I quit. I feel sorry for anyone who has to work under 6 sigma nonsense.
