We used to get them in our apartment in the fall-real bad. Then they came in the spring badly and the fall a little bit. It is December 30th in Nebraska...why are these little shits STILL around? I know the weather is warmer-we didnt even have any snow for Xmas....is this all a foretelling sign?

Re: Asian beetles
hi Gemini, very few of us here. We are the least represented astrological sign on GLP by a long shot.

Asian beetles suck. Not like ladybugs. It's been so warm up here, I imagine it's nice down there too, ergo the bugs live on.
Have you had a hard freeze yet?

Hello wisc- no, no hard freeze yet. Not even any snow for a couple of weeks. It has been in the 40s or 50s in various areas of NE as I traveled for the holidays, and RAIN here in northeast NE tonight. Even those who are not interested in earth changes have made comments on the abnormalities...

It was well documented to be one of the most severe if not most severe weather year ever for the USA.

I really don't mind the warmer temps though. Anything below 15F pretty much sucks. 45F and sunny today! ;-`)

Re: Asian beetles
If you really want to get rid of them Buy this [link to www.ebay.com]

Its not label to use inside of homes really, and not specifically for Asian Lady beetles, But sure as shit it works on just about everything.

Or buy this, its generic. [link to www.pestmall.com]

Use it along the baseboard of your home, mix it as its intructed, then let it dry, Very important, once its dry its safe. That shit kills Any social insect, wasps, cockroaches, any type of ant, its the best shit out there.

Trust me, I do pest control.

No, no no. They look like ladybugs but are a sick color. And they bite. They were imported years ago to eat bugs that ate our crops. They do not bother me per say, I just think its really, really weird that they are still around. Never seen this before...

Well, I try not to spray poisons where I live and breathe. It has certainly helped and is not harmful compared to chemicals.

I do fog under the house using Boracare (superior to termidor, IMO). We have all the gear - the fogger and masks. It cost less to buy all of the gear and chemicals to do the job ourselves - and have enough for repeat applications - than to hire an exterminator.
