Hammer, I really like this video. . . Saw one of his when it first came out and corresponded with the video maker. . . But have not seen anything else from him since until this one . .

The only thing I disagree with is the need for 60% relative humidity requirement for persistent trails. . . .

I will openly admit that one. Yes, I "suffer" from anti-social personality disorder. Please don't make it sound like people with anti-social personality disorder (it's no longer called "sociopathy") are bad people.

While it IS true that the media portrays people with this condition as being "pure evil" ... it's simply not true.

They did the same thing for decades with schizophrenia. My father was schizophrenic and, unlike Norman Bates, he was the most gentle man I've ever known. VERY intelligent, too.

I try to have a few laughs on these threads and am not meaning to bring too much "seriousness" out of the blue ... but this one I had to speak up about.

The use of the word "never" already shows a very negative bias from the author. Also, the use of "victim" shows more of the same. But, I'm gonna try to clarify some of these anyway.

Yes, I'm quite capable of manipulation. Hell, it was the primary method of my successfully raising 3 children, all by myself, into successful, intelligent, wonderful adults. I have no desire to "use someone as an instrument", so, again, evidence of more negative bias on the part of the author.

In closing, the thing that this author (and most others who think what they read in a psyche book makes them a God for that matter) is not taking into consideration is a little thing called "self control" and "proper planning". I tend to see things a few moves in advance. My judgement is not clouded by emotion, unlike most people. I am the one that remains an anchor in a crisis.

Something I forgot to mention in my previous posting:

The thing that is often left out of analysis of someone with anti-social personality disorder is that buried DEEP within the arrogance is the fact that at the core, there are low self-esteem issues, at least for me. I guess this is why I've been diagnosed with "borderline anti-social personality disorder with highlights of narcissistic personality disorder".

The arrogance stems from the fact that buried WAY down there, I actually do not see myself as a good person. Hence, I over-compensate by showing arrogance and a sense of superiority.

Most people that have ASPD also have narcissistic or histrionic highlights for this reason.
