The two sounding sites in Arizona in Tuscon and Flagstaff could easily show the approximate temperature trends when the Doppler images were observed . . I don't know what they are . . . I know Doppler will visualize Chaff . . . and are capable of detecting the motion of rain droplets in addition to the intensity of the precipitation . . . The images are too low (20,000 feet or less) to be conventional contrails and which should not theoretically be visible on Doppler . . .
