Like it or not, what the government is doing is necessary for stability.

As the population grows, these western ideals of freedom of expression, freedom of protest, right to bear arms will come into direct conflict with the stability and normal function of the society. Think of what happens when the US population has grown to 1 billion and 20 million take to the street of one city outside Virginia; WITH GUNS and making demands.
