That said, he is the least "American" of any president, ever. He was, according to the official record, born in Hawaii, the state least similar to the rest of the country, which was the last state to become a state, and is the farthest away from the mainland. He claims to be a Christian, a member of the majority of religions in the US, yet shows few if any signs of it; yet he shows deference to both Islam and secularism.
