Re: Strait of Hormuz Thread - Closure Coming Soon
Hello Everyone,

The battle for the Strait of Hormuz is about to go live. President Obama has signed a law that forbids any bank from dealing with Iran's main central bank. What this means is that 50% of european banks have to stop doing business with Iran. Also all the Russian and Chinese banks will have to stop doing business with Iran.

Obama's boycott of the Iranian central bank and any other bank that does business with it is a repeat of the MCOLLUM MEMO.I have enclosed the link below and suggest you read bullet #10 of the memo.

This boycott is a repeat of what the USA did in 1940 against the Japanese causing the attack on Pearl Harbor.

The Iranian response is to test fire its missiles and shut down the Strait of Hormuz and declare that they have built they're first nuclear rod. Stuxnet was supposed to stop that goal from happening months ago.

If you have relatives on the US floating coffins in the Strait of Hormuz, now is the time to wish them well before communications black out.

if iranian's are really serious about a blockade of the straights they will do it unannounced by timing an attack on unarmed tankers at a busy traffic time to ensure maximum disruption.

Any idea HOW difficult it is to sink a Tanker?.

The Iran War - How
It Will Begin
By The Earl of Stirling

Lord Stirling:

I have served as a consultant to three very high tech aerospace firms. My specialty is conceptualizing advanced warfare especially as it relates to new cutting edge advanced weapon systems. What I see unfolding with a war on Iran is the most frightening set of circumstances I have ever seen; and I have been involved in advanced theoretical
weaponry strategy and design for over 20 years.

Sometime in the weeks to months ahead, there will be a war launched against Iran. The war may be started by Israel, or by the United States, or by a NATO/EU/US embargo, or by some 'false flag' attack. What matters is that it will begin; and where it will take the world.

Regardless if the war begins with a limited number of air strikes against Iranian military and nuclear targets, or if an all-out several thousand target attack begins from day one the probabilities of the war becoming a major regional war within 48 hours are 90% or higher.

The Iranians will simply not allow Israeli and/or American military forces to attack its territory without a major response. Any significant counter-attack on Israel and/or American regional bases will trigger a much greater counter-response.

The Iranians have equipped and paid for, and trained, a massive unguided rocket and guided missile force in Lebanon (the largest such force in human history). These missiles are in-place as a MAD force (a MAD ~ mutually assured destruction ~ force is one that is a doomsday force; established to prevent the use of overwhelming military force by allowing a return "punch" of overwhelming military destructive force upon one's enemy).

The total number of missiles and rockets in Lebanon are variously estimated at between 40,000 and 110,000. While many are unguided Katyusha rockets, many are longer ranged guided missiles. All are operated by Hezbollah Special Forces launch teams.

The Hezbollah Special Forces are in-effect a highly trained and well-equipped Iranian commando force of at least a Brigade in size They man and protect a large number of mostly unguided and rather crude rockets, generally Katyusha 122mm artillery rockets with a 19 mile/30km range and capable of delivering approximately 66 pounds/30kg of warheads.

Additionally, Hezbollah are known to possess a considerable number of more advanced and longer range missiles. During the 2006 war Hezbollah fired approximately 4,000 rockets (95% of which were Katyshas) all utilizing only "dumb" high explosive warheads. Some Iranian build and supplied Fajr-3 and Ra'ad 1 liquid-fueled missiles were also fired. It is believed that the larger and longer range missiles are directly under the control of Syrian and Iranian officers.

The combination of short to medium range rockets and guided missiles in Lebanon, and the longer range guided missiles in Syria, the smaller number of rockets and missiles in the West Bank and Gaza, and the longer range guided missiles in Iran present a massive throw weight of warheads aimed at Israel.

The 2006 Israeli-Hezbollah War (called the Second Lebanon War in Israel) was an attempt by Israel at eliminating the MAD counter-force in Lebanon. It was an attempt that failed. The Syrians had purchased (and supplied to Hezbollah) a large number of very nasty, relatively low cost Russian AT-14 Kornet solid fuel anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM) and the Iranian trained Hezbollah commandos dug in massive numbers of concrete bunkers and firing positions.

After over 50 Merkava main battle tanks were hit, and the high tech American made warplanes and pinpoint weapons proved ineffective, the handwriting was on the wall. Either use neutron bombs or lose a large number of Israeli solders to remove the Hezbollah threat; or declare peace and walk away for the time being ~ the Israelis chose the latter.

It now appears that Israel has given up on the idea of a ground assault to remove the many rocket and missile launchers in Lebanon. A senior Israeli general has resigned with the complaint that the Army is not training sufficiently to fight in Lebanon.

Continuing with Lord Stirlings prediction:

Large parts of Israel will be contaminated with radiation with extremely long half-lives (many tens of thousands of years in some cases), with a mix of chemical, FAE, and biological nightmares thrown in for good measure. Total deaths will amount to one-third to one-half of the Israeli population with a large additional number being injured.

The Israeli response will be the nuclear annihilation of Syria, Iran, and parts of Lebanon with many tens of millions killed. Expect to see every city of any size destroyed. There will be insufficient people left in Syria, Iran, and large parts of Lebanon to even bury the dead. Radiation will spread around the world from the nuclear bombs.

Iranian sleeper teams in North America and western Europe will begin to "seed" the populations of these areas with a number (perhaps in the several dozens) of different man made killer viruses. People in movie theaters, churches, synagogues, shopping malls, subway stations, airports, etc., will be exposed without anyone knowing it at the time, to these advanced biowar viruses.

About nine to ten days later the computer reporting systems in the western countries will begin to report back strange illnesses. That will trigger a host of measures to contain the advanced biowar viruses but it will simply be too late to prevent a massive outbreak of horrific illnesses.

TEHRAN Jan 3

"Iran will not repeat its warning ... the enemy's carrier has been moved to the Sea of Oman because of our drill. I recommend and emphasise to the American carrier not to return to the Persian Gulf," Salehi told IRNA.

"I advise, recommend and warn them (the Americans) over the return of this carrier to the Persian Gulf because we are not in the habit of warning more than once," the semi-official Fars news agency quoted Salehi as saying.

US Re-escalates, Responds To Iran Warning

Submitted by Tyler Durden/zerohedge on 01/03/2012 - 11:21 Iran

Earlier today, we reported of Iran's threat to further escalate if the US were to bring back its aircraft carrier (either CVN74 or any other one) back into the Persian Gulf. Now, the US has just decided to call Iran's bluff.

From Bloomberg:

Re: Strait of Hormuz Thread - Closure Coming Soon
Iran has threatened to block the Strait of Hormuz, which served as the conduit for 17 millions barrels of oil every day last year.

Naval commanders believe the deployment of HMS Daring, a Type 45 destroyer, will send a significant message to the Iranians because of the firepower and world-beating technology carried by the warship.

Philip Hammond, the Defence Secretary, has publicly warned Iran that any blockade of the Strait of Hormuz would be "illegal and unsuccessful".

The Daily Telegraph understands that HMS Daring has been fitted with new technology that will give it the ability to shoot down any missile in Iran's armoury. The £1 billion destroyer, which will leave Portsmouth next Wednesday, also carries the world's most sophisticated naval radar, capable of tracking multiple incoming threats from missiles to fighter jets.

Daring, with its crew of 190, will transit through the Suez Canal and enter the Gulf later this month to replace the Type 23 frigate currently on station.

This battleship cost $1 Billion. It does not take into effect the new Chinese Silk Worm that Iran has that has an anti-radar stealth plug-in. Ladies and Gentleman, this is an $1 Billion floating coffin for 190 men. The most expensive coffin in the history of mankind.

The DARING--8000 ton destroyer.....the largest cargo SAILING ship was the Preussen,it could haul 8000 tons OF CARGO.In short the Brits new war ship could have been disassembled and put in the cargo hold of a 19th century wooden hulled sailing ship.

That is really the best the Brits have?

[link to www.marineinsight.com]

The DARING was designed to have an operation capacity equal to 4 of the ships that came before it, it is said to be one of the most advanced destroyers in the world. The initial plan was to have about 12 of these but now we only have something like 6, but they are equal to about 20 of the type 42's I guess they were escorts for our 3x 65 thousand ton aircraft carriers we were building, but as two of them are cancelled who knows.

Sending this is the same as us sending 4 of our type 42 destroyers.

Pretty sure we tested these against our type 42's and they have been enable to engage and destroy 5 type 42 destroyers at once.

Not sure if these are the ships we have that create a water vapour cloud around them too, they hide in most/fog they create and have a low radar profile, because of the weird shape.

Breaking news: NEW ZELAND IS SENDING ITS ENTIRE NAVY TO THE STRAI OF HORMUZ

[link to www.theprow.org.nz]

Meanwhile France won't be sending any ships since
France has already officially submitted France Instrument of Surrender documents to Iran.

trying to maneuver a battle group in the Strait of Hormuz region with the iranians first salting the waters with mines then mounting supersonic sea skimming missiles on small boats and off the beach would result in the naval equivalent of a knife fight in a phone box. I doubt even the state of the art US aegis equipped air defence boats would cope with such a scenario

The strangest thing about that Iranian fishing boat capture. Is it ran 23 search levels deep on Google. Which meant it went to every wire simultaneously. Which means there was likely extreme pressure of will done on everybody to create this synchronicity and milk it for all it was worth.

They've given up on the consumer distraction and companies can no long afford to run the MSM. My TV has resorted to running loads of air force, and marines commercials as well as spattering of the continual jump into the college training program.

The Google search is flabbergasting as even a super hot volcanic topic usually goes completely irrelavent after the 6th page of searches. So this thing had relevant to everything weighting on it.
----------------------------------------------------
The Art Cashin piece yesterday broke down this situational crisis well: it has to do with value. The value of their currencie in terms of the dollar is what will break the regime. It has been done before to other States, and it is the true reason for the embargo.

When the Iranian currencie falls 40%, which I expect it to in two weeks, their will be panic. Those that have currencie to change will still try to move into dollars, but those living day by day will be forced to buy daily items with devalued currencie. Their will be panic among the people. This will translate to panic among the regime.

By the end of January the panic will have set in. Look for Iran to be seeking revenge by February.

Cashin Explains Iran:

Iranian Government:Block Our Oil Exports and We Shut Down the Strait of Hormuz to All Ships

Such an action on the part of Iran would cripple the world economy, and the Iranian leadership understands this.

Oil is the world's primary source of energy and will continue to be for the forseeable future. The world's demand for oil will continue to rise as developing nations, such as China, and industrialized ones increase their use of oil.

The future, free access to this waterway is vital due to the fact that 66 percent of the world's oil reserves reside in the Arabian Gulf region and presently there are few options for exporting this oil out of the region beside the Straits.

Only two pipelines exist in Saudi Arabia capable of transporting oil. It is on this vital waterway then that the US receives 12% of its oil and Western Europe and Japan get 25 to 66% of their oil respectively.

In addition 15% of the world's commerce is routed through Hormuz and any aggression by Iran or any other nation would disrupt a large portion of the world's economy.

It will only take one tiny miscalculation, or one act of stupidity, to get a war going. And this will not be regional; it will inflame the entire world.

It looks as though the US, UK, France, and Israel is about to plunge the region, and the globe, into another world war.

I would like to respectfully remind those in the bowels of power in DC, Paris, London, and Tel Aviv that in the last century, those countries which initiated major wars lost them. Just something to chew on as they weigh the very real probability that a nuclear-armed Russia and China may well support Iran militarily if such a confrontation gets real.

"I think the stand-off with Iran in the Straits of Hormuz over sanctions is as much to do with the moves to replace the dollar as anything else.

The standoff is as much with China and its allies as it is specifically with Iran. The US is testing China’s nerve and the solidity of its network of bilateral currency settlement agreements.

We are seeing military power deployed to counter economic power. I think the US will lose. Depending on the nature of its loss we could see a precipitate decline in the standing of the dollar as global reserve currency."

What this means is that when Israel starts the war between the US and Iran, in addition to your children being blown to bloody rags in the war zone, you will have to make do without gas and fuel oil so it can be shipped to Israel by the US Federal Government.

Such a deal!
