6000 Year Old Earth

adam and eve not the first humans, and there were humans here from other planets in the days of the dinosaurs which was long befor 6000 years ago. In fact Adam and Eve came here 38,000 years ago, and godmind had arisen evolutionary wise, on this planet now nearly 1 million years ago, but again, man from other worlds has been here for far longer than that. also Adam and Eve were born in heaven a long time before they volunteered to travel to earth. Sorry OP you need to read Genisis 1:1 and then read Genisis 1:2 something happened in that time space, God does not create ANYTHING that is not perfect, in other words the earth was void and without form for a reason.
The earth is much older than 6000 yrs and i dont think that the human race that we know of from Adam and Eve is Gods first go round with humans. God told Adam "go forth and REPLENTISH the earth" look up the word replentish in the dictionary.

But saying that "a thousand generations" means 30,000 years is a massive stretch. This condradicts other parts of the bible.

How can it be "unaltered" if it's based on multiple, older sources, translated (sometimes badly), reinterpreted and then collated together in an arbitrary order.

It's been altered so many times it's almost impossible to relate it to the original texts in most parts.
