There is some truth to your post. The "majority" IS discontented with the current "system". We may even sympathize with SOME (not ALL) of the OWSers' positions.

However, what the "majority" does NOT buy into is seeing the continual destruction of both public and private property which will result in either the raising of their already back-breaking taxes to pay for it or watching their tax money go toward fixing what should never have been "broken" in the first place instead of toward that which would have uplifted and supported ALL of the citizens. I think its especially important to have a controlled opposition in the major metropolitan areas. Just a few people could really disrupt things - remember that electrician who caused that great blackout in the west? And that was an accident. Look at the Hollywood fire bomber - that same amount of destructive initiative could really muck things up.

TPTB are putting the economic squeeze on our country and using psychological techniques to divide us. They think they've got it all under control. What they don't recognize is their own weaknesses - they rely heavily on technology and networking.

Now we all appreciate the things that our technologically advanced society has, but with these people who are leading our country and are using this technology against us, we have to consider the value of this technology and whether we need to start cutting wires. We need to disarm them if things escalate. So we need to let them know that their schemes might have worked in the past, but they won't work now. We can unplug them just like we did with our TV sets.

People, they need to be networked so much more than we do.

I stand by my statement that OWS is an extreme fraction of Americans, a very small fraction.

It's like this:

A lot of Americans believe in the right to bear arms. Well, we shouldn't just expect that we'll march on the govt. and start shooting them when they've gone too far. We should think about how we can bring down a corrupt system and cripple it before we even have to shoot them. These people are power hungry with technological advancements and it's gone to their heads. They think that with a little manipulation they can dominate us and turn us into slaves. They're out of touch with reality.

So I think people who believe in their freedom should also have cable cutters, all manner of sabotage tools, and ingenuity along with their guns and rifles to fight tyranny - so what?

I agree with defending freedom, but my friend you are advocating government over throw, an that would not end well at all. Think about it before you advocate or encourage such actions. This site, as all others is monitored by TPTB, you must know this. If it ever came to a point where armed action was needed I would be there. We are no where near that point how-ever.

I think a military coup would happen before it got too far.

But it's important for all these patriots to think like revolutionaries rather than knee-jerk murderers.
