When we experience a deja vu, perhaps its because that particular moment was just how u mapped it to be in the 'pre-life'. some would say you were on the right path but I believe it that were absolutely true then they would last longer than that moment we experience. if one explanation is possible so must they all be. If one scenario is possible so must they all be. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 8036715 United States 01/01/2012 12:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "deja vu...could it be a dream that I once knew?" I have had deja vu many times and I actually remembered the dreams, where I had dreamt of the place I was. I mean, it is beyond any doubt, that I had see the place I was, in a dream, sometimes I had dreamt of the place, many years before. I keep a dream journal sometimes, or just think about my dreams when I wake up, try to remember as much as possible about them. One thing I have realized, remembering them, and every detail you remember, leads to another detail about your dream, and when you start getting to about the 3rd or 4th level of details, you start have psychic information revealed. It's like studying this reality with a microscope, the deeper you look, the more the dream of reality unfolds. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 8036715 United States 01/01/2012 12:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | when in the dream state, you are often actually semi dead, and your soul astrally projects, back and forth through time. There is no time in the chronological sense in the astral plane, simply because time is an illusion and consequence of the material world. What is a day? the time, it takes the earth, to spin around? What is the meaning of that measure of time, in the infinite universe? |

Quoting: TheBlueandYellowDragon We're very sophisticated bio-mechanical robots in a weird way. The meat suit (in my view, if yours differs, that's cool) seems to be a vehicle we use to drive around our souls in the material world. So the way I see it, we're far more than said robot. Spiritual beings having a human experience as it were :) |

Spiritual beings having a human experience as it were :) "deja vu, could you be the dream, that might come true?" I think Deja Vu has to do, with the mystery of our free will. We don't have a choice, to make our hearts beat, or if we try to hold our breathe, we will be forced to breathe. If we try not to eat, our will be overpowered by hunger. We yearn and lust for sex, even though it is sometimes not our will, just like a junkie wants drugs, but at the same time, cries because she wants to stop. If God gives you a dream, that comes true, then it's because he knew what you would be doing, it was your destiny. If your destiny is that predictable, then you are living as a robot, controlled by your biochemicals. It is our power to control our own reality, even our own bodies, to make them spring forth, to stiffen, to makes us shine and illuminated. blah blah blah, none of you even care, and so you will die. Your only hope for survival, is to listen to me, otherwise you will go inevitably to your collective doom. You are all unconscious of what you are doing, and therefore, your fate is predestined. Only through the intervention of one who is awake and conscious, who's thoughts are not predestined by the material world, can you avert your planetary disaster. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1433278 Canada 01/01/2012 01:27 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You'll note that when you have the feeling of "deja vu", it usually occurs when you're tired or haven't sufficiently slept (but don't necessarily feel tired). Essentially, part of your consciousness receives information about your environment, but there's a slight (nanosecond) time delay between when the information is first received and when it is first consciously acknowledged. This time delay is due to fatigue (another French word, meaning 'tiredness'). No great mystery here; just evidence that you've overstressed your brain and need some down time (rest and relaxation). I learned this from a German researcher in the former West Berlin in 1986. Deja Vu was his life's work. |

I really would love to understand deja vu's. I always have them. I still remember my first one when I was 7. I have been having them more frequently lately. Other than deja vu, lately I've been experiencing floods of past memories that jolt through me out of know where. It's weird. Quick flashes of all types of memories in a span of minutes, a few times a day, everyday, for weeks now. meh....thought I'd share that. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 3852327 United States 01/01/2012 01:39 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A deja vu experience I had came one morning while I was doing something I was dreaming about before waking up. In the dream a couple I knew had called and asked me for a ride, which happened about half and hour or so after I woke up. The deja vu moment came while driving to their house, but I don't recall that part actually happening in the dream. In the dream it was the phone call and then boom, I was there picking them up. So I know that at least some deja vu feelings come from the dream state. |

The question was already answered for you by a few people in the last thread. Deja vu happens because time does not exist. Everything essentially happens simultaneously. There is only "right now." This moment is eternal. I'm not guessing here; this is not a hypothesis. I am telling you this is the actual reason. This is not my simple belief, it is fact. |
