GLP is great but I find twitter quite handy too. I don't tweet myself but am following a lot of economic and news related channels.

I agree. Some people below said that GLP is full of junk like Fox. Although that may be so, it has the things you would never see on mass media news as well. The people here on GLP are the ones who are open to ideas and theories other than the ones on the TV. They're the ones who dare to question what the governor says, or the president, or the world as a whole. I think that's what I love about GLP. They question everything. Even if they present the popular opinion, the alternatives are there too.

I don't doubt Twitter is faster, because a lot more people use it, rather than GLP, but GLP is the collection of events worldwide.
