I do believe it is the concious realisation of the similarity of an event with a sub-concious thought or dream you may have had, but I just wanted to add that I still get it sometimes. |

Quoting: Dreamer11 Even though you do this now, it can be any dream from anytime in your life, ie. childhood. Has is lessened since you began to recall each night? |
Dreamer11 User ID: 7499216 United Kingdom 01/01/2012 04:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well said and above all else...very true. Quoting: fortytwo This brings about the question as to pre-ordained futures..devoid of free-will, or is free-will just a figment of imagination? Free will means you have the ability to make a choice, destiny means you will make that choice. The choice is always there to make, but like crossing at a red light you would make the choice not to (99% of the time). I think if you can see parts of the future (dejavu, dreams etc) that must in itself alter the outcome, as you have gained access to something that hasn't happened yet, therefore introducing a whole new variable to the free will equation. |

Quoting: SecondPrecession Has is lessened since you began to recall each night? I can't remember a time when I didn't recall nearly every night so I honestly couldn't tell you. But yes, I think it could be a reflection from any time in life. |

Quoting: fortytwo This brings about the question as to pre-ordained futures..devoid of free-will, or is free-will just a figment of imagination? Nothing is pre-ordained at all. Nothing is ever absolute. But we are only remembering details of ourselves, which in dreaming the subconscious mind is trying to tell you how its interacting with the environment. How you are taking in, and giving off energy in your environment. That energy is the current created by exchange between the hemispheres of the brain, via emotion and thought. Dreams are like a translation of how you interact with your environment. |

How's that sound? We get the powers over us that we've earned collectively. Humanity, as a whole, is self-interested, shallow, ignorant, violent and immoral; small wonder, therefore, that our leaders (secret or otherwise) reflect that. You want better leaders, become better people. I forgive myself, I Love myself, I'm sorry, Please forgive me, I forgive you, I love you, Thank you. God Bless You; I Bless You; Bless Yourself(~). Love is the answer ~ Peace be with You. |

Quoting: SecondPrecession When we experience dejavu, it is your right brain remembering for you. What is it remembering? A dream. One that you forgot. When the event unfolds in your waking reality, and you find yourself immersed in the event as it happens, your right brain is remembering the dream in emotional fashion, since it does not verbalize. In the meantime, your left brain is thinking--"This is dejavu. I've done this before in this exact same place." Because you have, in the dream which you forgot. When you are able to remember yours dreams each and every night, you will no longer have deja vu. You will have something much more insightful, which is a constant dialogue where your subconscious mind via the right brain is able to cooperate with your left brain and the conscious mind via thought. In essence, this play of the two is a exchange between polarity, whereas the right brain is (-) and the left brain is (+). Communication between the two hemispheres creates a dipole current of sorts. Figuring out the meaning in your dreams is critical to this exchange. It is critical to knowing all of your self. I always think that people are their own personal rubixcube-like puzzles. And how could we ever figure this place out without putting ourselves in the right context to it? (pun intended) its all over...again |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 1450913 United States 01/04/2012 04:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Time is a man made construct. It is a prison we have created for ourselves. Consciously, the average human uses @ 15% of their brain potential. We yawn because of an abundance of carbon in our system and yawning is a way to increase our oxygen intake. The average human at rest, purges their system of excess carbon, and gets an increase of oxygen flow though their system. The subconscious does not adhere to the man made prison, or the rules of this plane of existence. We are constantly traveling at roughly 1/2 the speed of light, and being bombarded with tachyon particles from the world around us. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4825412 So what is deja vu.
