What I think "Jacob's trouble is here" means is that the trouble for Israel is here.

Consider Genesis 32:28: "And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed."

The trouble for Jacob/Israel is most likely part of the end-times scenario that takes us to the tribulation, but it's premature to suggest it would be the beginning of the tribulation. I could be wrong about that, but I'd be curious about other points of view.

Things are rapidly changing. I can feel it in my own life and in the spirit. Just yesterday, the Lord reminded me that I have the Holy Spirit. And for some reason that thought hit me much differently than it ever had before. I feel more certain that I have the Holy Spirit for some reasons. This confidence is so important as we stand against the enemy in the last days.

Recently, the Lord brought my attention to the Book of Daniel, specifically the situation that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego found themselves in when they were in the furnace in Daniel Chapter 3. They survived because the Lord was with them.

In these last days, trials will come. And many of us will feel the heat of those trials. But the Lord is with us, and will see us through it.

^^^ This ... excellent post. imo! This is how i understand it as well. Mathew 24:6-8 is saying that this is the beginning of the troubles BUT THERE IS MORE TO COME. So, the trouble has arrived. Last i heard Egypt was making a move to send Israel's ambassador back home. And, of course, despite the rhetoric, i don't think Obamma is a friend to Israel. So, Israel is basically alone surrounded be enemies. I believe wholeheartedly that Persia has a nuclear weapon and we know they have the technology to launch it. From the news reports i've seen, it looks like they are working on the triggering mechanism to make it explode when they want it to. In any event I heard it clearly twice: Jacob's trouble is here. I believe this will lead us up to and then through what we call The Great Tribulation.

May the Lord Jesus Christ keep us in His peace.

The time of Jacob's trouble is described in Daniel Chp 12 and encompasses the final 3.5 years of Daniel's 70th week.


The man of evil will first go after Israel. But God will protect a remnant in the wilderness. He will then go after the "offspring"......the Gentile believers in Christ who have been grafted into the natural branch. (Rev. Chp 12)


After a few years of severe persecution......God will end this.....otherwise no flesh would be saved.


The whole world will then go black for an unspecified period of time (6th Seal). The great ones of the earth will hide in fear in caves. They will proclaim that the day of the Lord and His wrath is about to begin.


Then the 144,000 of Israel are sealed from harm. They will remain on earth.

Then a great multitude which no one could number from all the nations is talked about in heaven. They can wear robes and have palm branches in their hands. These are the Gentile believers in Christ who have been caught up be angels to be with the Lord.....just prior to God's wrath.


Then you have God's wrath.......the 7th Seal trumpet and bowl judgements.......which will last approx. one to two years.....the final section of Daniel's 70th week. The 5th trumpet judgement be itself is 5 months in duration.

The above position is known as the Pre-Wrath rapture of the church (Marvin Rosenthal)......and holds that God's wrath begins at the 7th Seal.


God has not appointed us for wrath.....namely His wrath.


Christians and others have been subject to satan's wrath for many years.......and this continues even now in various places.

We have a man here who is spoken to by The Lord. His name is Ronald and he was expecting something major to happen around March 13, though why, I don't know for sure.

We are watching and keeping up hope that The Lord will come soon. I hear The Lord, but I don't know if I am strong enough of mind to endure knowledge.

A few years ago I had a bad feeling and I asked what was going on and I was given a quick flash vision of a bomb going off. I felt like it was kind of done like a joke sort of, like I was always being really negative and they were poking fun at my always thinking the worst was going to happen-kind of like saying, "calm down" with a visual.

I might have read that wrong though. You know I don't always understand things 100%, especially if I'm in a depressed mood, then it's easy for me to mistake how something is being meant.

This is the first time - for me - that i've seen MSM on this story. It will be interesting to see what develops.

I was being a little serious about my suggestion. The "Wisconsin" word that was received earlier last year may not be completely fulfilled yet.

Just wanted to give an update based on my post back in September from the 2011 thread:

I've been attempting to figure out what "When the trumpet sounds" and "Do not falter" mean exactly.

After searching thoroughly through both the Old and New Testament for any insight, I believe Revelation 8 contains the answer.

Right before the seven angels prepare to sound the seven trumpets (Revelation 8:6), this happens:

Revelation 8:5 - Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.

I believe this California/West Coast earthquake may ultimately be the final precursor to the trumpets of Revelation.

Once the first trumpet sounds, many will lose faith (Matthew 24:10) and stumble. Which is why "Do not falter" greatly resonates within my spirit in regards to the possible imminency of the events in Revelation 8.

I'm still set firm on believing the "5274" number that I received on September 9th is indeed hours until this earthquake hits. Which, including the extra day in February, will land on April 16th.

Also, I found this video several days ago which literally confirms a mid-April earthquake. This mother and her children, who live in the Bay Area, have all experienced dreams over the past year of a coming California earthquake. One child was warned that 3 weeks after March 22nd is when this earthquake will occur. Here's the link:

@Lisa - Sorry for not replying to your question in the old thread. Yes, my family and I plan to leave for Tucson on April 10th and stay there for at least 2 weeks. Then we'll see where the Lord takes us from there.

Wow, seems that the haters were around 2 years ago too..lol. Not much has changed.

Nope! But this story teaches me that Benjamin has paid a heavy price already by losing a brother to a dictator. If he thinks he should attack then he will. I recently raid that the Israel Security Council voted to attack 8-6. I don't know if that was a true report or not.
