I can feel the pressure already. Day to day stuff takes it toll. I was reminded of a few things this morning by the Lord.

1) Glorious future. Which turned into "a glorious future awaits us/you." It simply reminds us that heaven is our eternal destination if we have placed our trust and faith Jesus Cbrist for the forgiveness of our sins and eternal life. If someone has some scriptures that come to mind for "glorious future", I'd love to hear them. The initial word study didn't show any specific scriptures with that particular phrasing, but I'm not done looking yet.

2) Faith and patience and their relationship to one another concerning trials. I think James 1:2-4 explains it well:

"My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."

Just some thoughts on "I'm putting you all in the crucible."

There is no doubt that much more difficult times are coming. Difficulties right now only prepare us for more difficult times later.

I had a Christian friend tell me that the people he's seen in his life who have had trials, often times have a lot of different trials. At the end of the day, it is probably God's grace at work... and His mercy as well.
