So, as you may have read, that when A government becomes destructive to those ends, it is our right, our duty, to shed this government and either abolish it or modify it.

We need not abolish it, it simply needs to be taken back into the hands of the "governed". According the Obama's new llaw, posting the constitution could possibly be considered a threat against "The Government", not the "National Security", simply the corrupt Government that needs modified.

You can get free copies of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights - usually from campaign offices or second ammendment groups and at gun shows.

I have a handful and give them out to whoever wants them.

My kids (25-23) all have a copy, as do their kids.

Unfortunately (and I think this should be illegal) it is NOT taught in public schools. Nothing but the DATE is taught, so our kids will not know unless YOU teach them!

And as I said in my thread 'If I were rich', at how few politicans - or lawyers - have ever studied all of those constitutions: the ancient Greek and Roman, English, American, and Russian.

I think one of the tests a candidate for the US presidency should be able to pass is AT LEAST about the US Constitution.

It took them long enough to write it, seeing as the war started with the failed attack on Quebec city in December 1775. They didn't get around to declaring their independence till July 1776.

With all that time to think about it, one would expect a few inspiring statements in the document.
