While the signature requirement has been law for awhile, this new 'loyalty' oath was just voted in. It seem they are freaked out about VA being an 'open' primary state and with Dr. Paul pulling support from across the spectrum (left, independent, right) they fear a massive turn out in his favor.

Oh, and they despise the idea of folks writing in Paul if he fails to win the nomination....
