sorry, but this is just a sensationalist article. No where does it show any evidence of an imminent eruption...

I read early this year couple article this place and what i have heard there is some scientist which are really worried about that bubling gas and activity that area. Anyway looks like magmachamber is really alive nowdays but it have been same kind of style now many months. There was really scary swarm last year.

currently worthy of closer scrutiny is the volcanic activity at Christchurch, NZ and Lake Van, Turkey! not to mention the ring of fire, obviously

I don't want to ruin this but for a volcano to erupt in such a long distance from an area where 2 tectonic plates collide, it would mean that many other volcanoes would erupt too in these hot zones so this one wouldn't be an issue since pretty much all European volcanoes would be active at the time.

Lake van is interesting here is one old article
