What are the silver things 'swimming' on my eyes
I'll just start of with one fact. What I am seeing, is not the same as when I 'see stars' from dizziness etc.

I have noticed over the course of 2011, that when I look at a light background, or into the sky, I can see thousands, if not millions of 'bright white particles' on both my eyes. They 'swim' in an erratic fashion. I can focus on a single 'particle' for a few seconds, as it 'swims' across my eye.

There is no pain associated.

Does anyone have anything similar?

Floaters, small pieces of plague that have broke off and are floating in your eye. No way to get rid of them, you will just get to where you ignore it and don't really see it.

They're not floaters.

I can see floaters at all times if I focus, but to see the 'fish', I have to be looking at a light background.

They are completely different to the floaters that I have been aware of since I was a child.

And I don't think I emphasised the fact that these things, appear to be swimming. If I try and focus on a 'normal floater' they skid across the surface of my eye. These things appear to not be residing in the liquid on my eye, but living in it.

Re: What are the silver things 'swimming' on my eyes
I know what you are talking about. They are deffinitely not floaters.

Forgive my analogy, but they are like tiny flecks of swimming sperm, but are extremely fast! And, if you look at the sky, they are everywhere. But, if you look at the treeline, they get much more difficult to see.

I've never figured it out OP. Its come up many times.

I love how the immediate responses are from people who have no clue what they are talking about, as if they know what you are seeing. lol

"See a neurologist."

"They are called floaters."

Ha, thansk for the laugh, but its definitely not that kind of floater. These are 'swimmers'. Only thing I can compare them them to visually, is magnified sperm cell (As weird as that sounds), and before anyone asks, I am a hetero male.

Re: What are the silver things 'swimming' on my eyes
I think actually you can see cells moving around in the tiny capilaries. Only like one or two cells can move along the tiniest of these at a time. If you watch after a while you will notice that they seem to be following the same path.

I see these as tiny sparks when I look up into a bright blue sky but not looking at the sun or anything.

I can see tiny sparks of light that dart around.

I can also see larger shadowy circles and rods or stringy looking things that are the floaters.

Re: What are the silver things 'swimming' on my eyes
I also can see them to. I see them most when I look out of a plane window (I travel a lot for work). Little white lights floating all around.

I have been seeing these all my life. I read a book some years ago that said being able to focus on these help move you into a different state of consciousness.

I see them all the time and have my whole life.

I think its our life energy source. Your the first post I have ever read that some one else besides me is seeing these.

Im in my 40's so I am used to them by now. I can also bring them into sight at will when I want.

Next time you are seeing them try crossing your eyes just a bit to see if you can focus on them. Crossing your eyes to much and they will disappear.

They are fast as shit.

It's dust particles & other tiny stuff in the liquid coating of your eyes.
They change the refractive property by pooling liquid into one spot & you're more aware of them when you look at something bright.
Sometimes they're little circles or dots, or they can be tiny fibres etc. It's just junk in your eyes.

There is stuff in tears that you can probably see if you look under a microscope. But there also is a background "pattern" - at least that I see. I think it's the medium that everything is embedded in. Information.

When I have done hallucinogens, they come out more brightly colored, a very dense pattern, constantly moving, circular. When tripping, they were incredibly beautiful, bright and cartoonish. Later I recognized them in Mayan symbols. Weaker herbs and meditation also bring them out, but the pattern seem to be always there, even if only faintly, so I make sense of it as the medium that all things are embedded in.

What you are seeing is the movement of energy of your environment meeting and reacting with the solar energy. You can see it when you mostly look upon a white backdrop and particularly at the sky where the solar energy is most intense.

Re: What are the silver things 'swimming' on my eyes
I see them too..have done, all my life.

Somehow as a child I formed the belief that I was seeing 'atoms' of the atmosphere.

Now I know that the air around us is full of life-forms that we do not consciously see but are innately aware of & sometimes influenced by - for better or worse.

Dunno if the two beliefs are connected (ie, the same but from different perspectives due to age/maturity level) or not.

When I am in a higher spiritual awareness I see them much clearer, more in focus, more of them, etc.

Also, when I'm most healthy (spiritually) I see waves of movement, almost like smoke or light but not quite, emanating from people - especially from their heads and my own hands.

It's kind of like the "heat waves" you see on a desert highway - no color, just "movement" rising upwards.
I know, sounds weird...

Cool thread, OP.
Looking forward to more responses.
