What is the most useless profession in the world?

Here's another one. Any professional athlete.

Psychiatrist. They get paid $300 per session just to sit and listen to your problems.

Since millions/billions of people tune in to watch sports every day, I would nearly say that it would be one of the most important roles.

People need to be entertained.

Actors would be high on the list too for that reason.

Imagine if you had no tv, no movies to watch, no sports to view or talk about?! How bored would you be, and what would that boredom lead to?

Anyways, here's the answer - you guys ready?? Here it is... here it comes...


A body builder. Yes, that's right, a body builder. Body builders produce ZERO wealth yet consume the most. They are not only useless eaters, they produce the most negative wealth. A banker for instance produces zero wealth, but he doesn't consume 600 grams of protein a day just so he can look sculpted. None of the muscle body builders use goes towards producing any wealth, all muscle is used only for building more muscle! Biggest useless eater ever.

Here, by the term "useless", I mean precisely that, a useless eater. I know the answer. Any takers? The answer isn't something strange or esoteric, it's actually quite simple if you think about it for a moment. It's also a profession you will find most common in the USA.

Professional criminal. From those serving in an authoritative capacity to those serving long prison sentences and everyone of them in between.

Yes, that's correct too, but body builders take the cake because they consume more than all athletes.

Walmart greeter
