IOWA CAUCUS 2012 - Paul, Romney, Santorum Neck in Neck! | |
Girl Genius (OP) User ID: 1133676 United States 01/03/2012 11:30 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | We will have a Ron Paul monitor person there , if they bring a laptop the Radisson will have y fi internet signal ! They are to photo results and phone into RP headquarters ! Quoting: wing-ed Want to bet they will try and put a stop to that - at least from RP monitors ? Hack the wify/pnone signal, drum up some accusation of misconduct to have the person(s) removed from the site or they could simply try and ban any type of media recording device from the site. I volunteered with the republican party as the secretary and recorder ! My job will be to call in the results ! Excellent! I've added a link to your long post to the resources post at the beginning of the thread (2nd in thread) - feel free to keep it updated with any changes to the schedule of caucus day events For nothing is secret that will not be revealed… |

Maguyver User ID: 808852 United States 01/03/2012 11:45 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Can Ron Paul beat P'Bo? Quoting: Maguyver Will the uninformed mass electorate vote on substance or style in November? We are looking for a 25% cross over today !! What does that tell you ? !! It tells me that active, informed perticipants; the ones involved in the process more than one day every four years, see problems and notice RP has substance. It doesn't tell me anything about the uninformed voters bussed to the polls in November and that scares the crap outta me! Obama had little record, a sketchy past, nefarious aquaintences, (and on and on...)but could sway an audience with his oratory skills on hope 'n change backed by nothing of merit. That tells me the (majority of) people voting in November are knumbskulls. The goal in November is to beat P'BO. Is RP that guy? I think RP would be a great Sec. of Treasury! But I don't see his oratory skills swaying those transient voters since they certainly don't look at anything else. (ps...not looking for an arguement here, just discussion.) Adversity is inevitable, misery is optional. Do or do not. There is no try. "The enemy will never attack where you are strongest...He will attack where you are weakest. Romney 20%. Santorum 18% Perry 12%. Gingrich 12% Bachmann 8%. Huntsman 2%. "I think Paul will pull in more fresh faces, like Obama did 4 years ago, being a movement candidate. He will overperform. Romney is generally polling around 24%, but he's the establishment candidate and should underperform that by a few points. Zurvan User ID: 7781931 United States 01/03/2012 02:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "Ron Paul is disgusting," presidential candidate Rick Santorum said to a handful of Fox News and Business reporters shortly after his Fox and Friends interview Tuesday morning. Santorum blamed his rival for Iowa robo calls that claimed that the former U.S. senator from Pennsylvania was Pro-Choice and against the second amendment. Paul's son, Senator Rand Paul, R-Ky., who has been campaigning with his dad in Iowa this week, was asked by Fox Business reporter Peter Barnes about the robo calls. "I haven't heard the robo calls, but the thing is, he hasn't been scrutinized yet, so it's his turn," Rand Paul said.
