Well when one looks at all the laws over the last 20 years, probably longer, not to mention executive orders, and now NDAA 2012, etc. it's a no brainer to be careful what you say.

I'll throw this out there knowing it'll get the bs flag but whatever. In about 80 or 81 my dad's life long friend who had worked for the bell systems since he got out of army inteligence in the early 60's told dad that every conversation in a room could be heard over the telephone even when hung up. Now this was when phones still hung on the wall and had a cord connecting the handset to the phone...lol. The next day we had no phone anymore lol. Now,fast forward 30 years to cell phones, computers etc. and well, I'm sure you can figure it out.

Just for your information, my dad was naval inteligence in the late 50's and early 60's. In the early 80's he was fighting the government in court about the fed res. being illegal, the gold standard, etc. This is what prompted this conversation and why he got rid of our phone. I've been living this doom for over 30 years, it's just taken longer than my dad thought it would.
