I always wanted to try LSD, but i dont really know what to expect.

Now whats acid like? does it give the same effect as shrooms could give you?
has anyone of you who tried acid had a very bad trip that you dont wanna hear the name acid again?

Similar but a bit more strength than mushrooms.

It depends on you really.
I can take LSD and control how I see things. ie I can look at a painting on the wall and see it for how it is, or I can free my mind a little and let the colors mix and swirl around.

If you are weak minded, you prob dont want to take it.
It could make you aware of too many demons, and fuck you right up.

Finding any REAL LSD is going to be the trick.

I don't think the real stuff is available anymore. Real acid is extremely powerful, and you won't be the same person when you come down.

If you are the same person, you know it wasn't good acid.

holy shit really? I hear many great stuff about LSD. the beatles did it, Aldous Huxley tried and written a book about. Even Steve jobs said it was one the most important experiences he has ever had. it actually makes sense since he wore worn out sneaker all the time while he had billions LOL

Good luck finding pure LSD-25 if you run across some it will be a chemical cousin most likely that will knot up your stomach and make you back stiff. It was due to these cousin chemicals that are structurally similar to LSD that started the strychnine myth.

Acid s all right I've tripped maybe 30 times LSD and too many to count shrooms. Amongst an array of other things and I'm still here to tell the story. I think overall psychedelics have made me smarter not dumber.
The prob. With acid over shrooms is that it's man made and many times made by sketchy fucks that don't know what they are doing so you never know what your gonna get. Start small .do a half a tab then build from there if you like it. Like I said though. I really depends on how good it is the potency etc.. So you may have to shop around till you get what your looking for.
My college room ate was a dealer at phish shows and dosed a whole sheet (100 tabs) he was hospitalized for an entire year. And was still having problems 4 years later when I met him.

I still take shrooms on occasion but the older I get the harder they are to find. I'm currently looking to try ayahuasca.

One more story. My exgirlfreind traveled to the bush in Africa for a month and lived with a tribe of pygmies (I think) to apt entice as a ibogaine shaman. She was always pretty cool though.

OP, if mushrooms were the "best experience of your life" I feel a little sorry for you ....

I went to a Greatful Dead show; well to the parking lot, to aquire some LSD during the summer of 1988...found a guy selling 100 hit blotter sheets of "Orange Sunshine". I would say mid-level powerful stuff. Was great, very tingly body/leg feeling, nice visual effects, but no really whacked out visions of things that weren't there. It just intensified the World around me to a degree...music was so clear and different (I am tone deaf and I think it let me hear things "normally" for once), and I had night vision with a side order of zoom-vision, it was cool. About 8-9 hours in I thought it was wearing off so I tried to go to sleep...bad idea, as soon as I closed my eyes I could see a crystal clear image of everything I was even casually thinking about, nothing scary just IMAX like clarity of ANYTHING I cared to envision. Wanna see yourself having sex with a Playboy Bunny...no problem, Christie Brinkey and you? (or for modern dudes maybe Christina Ricci or maybe Katie Holmes wow)...yep easy as pie and 3D for hours if that's what you want. I would imagine if you DID want to see monsters and such, that would be fairly effortless also...but why even try to scare the crap out of yourself?

Bad side...I got sick of it and had about 90+ hits left, since it was very inexpensive and less powerful than I had tried one time before, I gave it away to some friends. I got a telephone call about 3 hours later, this one guy who I wrongly guessed would have had a strong enough mind to handle his rational thinking through a "trip", didn't. My friends were freaking out because he had climbed halfway up a large high tension line power "pole" (steel tower) and was claiming he could fly...and seemingly was about to prove it. Was easy getting him down by just telling them to tell him that it was always a good idea to take off from the ground (when 1st mastering the art of flying), not a high structure, building, tree, etc. He did come down before I got there and from the grass stains on his shirt, he had obviously tried "taking off" from the ground...lol. I felt horrible giving them the LSD...I got the sheet back (80+ hits left) and immediately burned it all up.

LSD is something I would recommend you avoid. But then again if you are an adult and have a clear understanding of how to maintain a firm grip on your thoughts (common sense) then try 1/2 of whatever dosage you aquire, and definately stay home. This mind altering substance is a huge "no-no" for driving...do NOT operate anything more complicated or mobile than your phone. Take it at home/in a house, best at night in a dark room with a candle burning, music playing, and taking some Vit-C helps with the visuals as well as the headache sometimes associated with the "coming down" part. I have never had any sort of "flashbacks" nor loss of "who" I was before I tried it...no dain-bramage at all. There is no hope of turning it off once that trip starts, so buckle in and think good thoughts...a mind under the infuence of LSD is what it eats, so feed it pleasant happy thoughts, or try to solve the World's mysteries. If you feed it violence, TSHTF, Doom, or hate...you will experience it right there in your head...as seemingly "real" as it gets.

It can be a very interesting "tool" for delving into the possiblities of "thinking"...heck I still believe that being on LSD is the way the Universe REALLY is, but we as humans would never be able to function if we were tripping 24/7/365, so somewhere in the grand sceme of things God/Evolution built our brains to secrete "anti-LSD" just so we could make sense of life.

If you are under 18-21 (an adult) don't take it, don't ask these sorts of questions on here.

okay let me put it this way...one of the best experiences in my life

LSD (pure) is the best. I've done it hundreds of times, and it was always happy for me. I've seen my guardians(in the spirit world), laughed with bushes (they were always friendly) and watched a blank white wall grow colors and patterns so beautiful no artist could ever come close. And music....wow.
It depends on the person, I suppose, but for me, it has always been good, even the intense mega doses.
