Pretty cool, and you can bet you'll see this in gaming technology sometime in the near future lol. But it will be even better if they put together a kind of glove thing that simulated the feeling of being touched by the item through a high density grid of sensory stimulants, as its soon in avatar movie. ..yeah but how?, without compressing & slowing down standing waves around a circle to create/sustain enough force to be in phase to create opposition? Another problem with holograms, is how to get rid of the black/dark areas in a lit up room or environment. I've actually seen holographic 'green' displays in mid-air in a hosptial room, showing a 3D skull or jawbone. When the doctor dimmed the lights down, it looked amazing!!

If we live in a holographic universe why not just find or create the entaglements from vast distances or dimensions and use touch holographic technology to explore from a lab? No ships going into outer space needed, explore from home, like the internet only connected to the universe and alternate dimensions.

This is very cool and exciting technology.

I read an article a month or so ago --- could not find it now, regarding this same type of technology --- but in relation to our touchscreen tablets. The buttons on our tablets (ipads or others) would soon have the feeling of being raised off the glass -- with the feeling of pushing the button.
