Kodak Teeters on the Brink .
Eastman Kodak Co. is preparing to seek bankruptcy protection in the coming weeks, people familiar with the matter said, a move that would cap a stunning comedown for a company that once ranked among America's corporate titans.

The 131-year-old company is still making last-ditch efforts to sell off some of its patent portfolio and could avoid Chapter 11 if it succeeds, one of the people said. They won't get financing, Kodak's business model is old and not competative. Kodak is done.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Yeah, couldnt they get into the printer ink and printer photo paper business?????

The prices now still suck

I load up everything I need to print onto my usb and take it into the shop,

I print out photos at Walgreens

Youd think theyd have a niche somewhere to get into.

Whatever you do, dont buy a HP home printer, they are horrible. Reviews of thousands of people who are pissed.

Youd think by now they can make a decent home printer that doesnt jam or freeze up and with decent prices on ink . But nope, No can do.

Yeah they went from being the best goto printer for home printing to having software that is basically a virus and fucks up your entire OS.

We switched to Canon a while back. Yet another American company that went to shit, tried to be politically correct then drove their customers away with shit.

Lexmark is pretty decent and has 4.99 black ink on some of their printers...but they are expensive.

Either way printing is damn scam.

I just keep most of my stuff digitized now.

No I'm an IT admin.

30 plus laptops all out of warranty all had 2 minumum wireless cards replaced and none of them work now.

Worthless.

Printers....don't get me started. Almost impossible to configure wirelessly....drivers are totally fucked up now...forget cheap printers.

You want a reliable HP with good drivers. Spend over a grand for a business class laser. Then you will be able to configure it.

Their HP interface never really worked in IE either.

java would always crash.

Don't even get me started on their blade servers......

We have totally switched to IBM blade servers and Canon Printers and have been so rock solid and steady I'm worried about my job now.

Lexmark is the only printer thats ever worked for me, Ill probaly by a new one

The stupid HP program always goes buggy, always has intrusive software and freezes on you or goes dead due to some glitch. Totally worthless.

The ink prices are still crap

If I need a booklet printed or anything printed I just take my usb to the print shop like Office Max or Office Depot.
