NOW how the hell does this help in finding your missing kid ? gawd forbid your child went missing BUT if there is a happy ending wouldn't they test everything THEN ?

We had the same conversation about micro-chipping kids like pets in case they go missing, she said she would concider it if she ever has a kid. Never would I micro-chip my kid even though that I have my dog micro-chipped.

Most of them do not know, you can apply to have it destroyed.

They are told it's done to check for genetic disease.

However, I think everyone deserves to get a copy of their DNA profile.

So they have the opportunity to know more about themselves.

It is, and its stored on a card in the hospital where it was done.
It is not stored on a DNA database by a private company like some dickheads would have you believe.

Yep, every baby gets it's poor little foot pricked, and they use a pipette to get that blood!! When they draw blood on me to check my levels, they want 2 or 3 giant tubes full. So what could they be checking with one tiny pipette?? Nothing. They are used to collect the DNA for future crime solving.
