Girl Genius (OP) User ID: 1133676 United States 01/05/2012 08:36 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | For the sake of completeness, I will also mention that Suffolk University (Boston) has Romney winning 41 % followed by Ron Paul (18 %), Santorum (8 %), Gingrich (7 %) and Huntsman (7 %). Personally, I think this poll coming straight out of Mittenworld is the most cooked so I pay more attention to the others. For nothing is secret that will not be revealed… |

Girl Genius (OP) User ID: 1133676 United States 01/05/2012 09:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So many irregularities coming out! Frankly, I was surprised that so many things could happen in a so-called transparent vote. It really disgusted me and the worst part were the Iowa citizenry, many of who waited to be told how to vote and then voted as a block for Santorum. Still, there are good Iowans - like yourself - that I very much appreciate. Just not enough. Btw, what ever came of the vote count comparison? Didn't every take pictures to record the votes? At least we can scrutinize that aspect of the irregularities. The last I heard, Paul's camp was not releasing the independent count. What happened to that independent website that was doing an independent count? PS - my recollection of NH 2008 was there was a lot of fraud. That woman from bbv followed a van that ran off with some of the ballot boxes, apparently planning to tamper with the contents. She videotaped it. There were a lot of incidents. The corporate poster boy!!! They did cut the soldier short. Wolf could have added that Paul receives the largest percentage of military support in his propaganda piece. Guess they do not support the military on CNN. Z Free your mind,...your ass will follow. --- parliament funkadelic |
Copperhead User ID: 7003076 United States 01/05/2012 09:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yep, the good 'ol Iowa folks in my area pretty much get their marching orders from their churches and vote for the one who claims they will smite all of Israels enemies, ban abortion and same sex marraige and above all they have to have the Shaun Hannity stamp of approval. You wouldn't believe all the times I heard the older folks at the caucus tell each other how much Ron Paul scares them, as they parrot the major media. My caucus went over 50% for Santorum, all because of the push by the media and spin put out against Paul. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8318450 Well, no delegates were decided yet, but the Paul camp has supposedly got that covered. I think Bachmann was told to quit so they can put more force into Santorum to challenge Paul for the 2nd spot. For nothing is secret that will not be revealed… |
zacksavage User ID: 8347852 United States 01/05/2012 10:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes, that is the Zogby poll. I guess I should have put the percentages in the opening post. Romney 38%, Paul 24% and Santorum 11%. One would have to be totally politically clueless to support Santorum. My God what a loser in every description of the word. Romney is the double loser from 4 years ago. Nothing new with him. Status Quo. Clearly, Ron Paul is expressing the sentiment of the silent majority of the country. The brave speak out and give him numbers,... while the meek wimper and cower afraid to vote for the person they truly want. Swayed by taking heads in the MSM to think he can not win. Hello??? Sad state of affairs,...huh Genius?? Z Well, I also supported Paul in 2008 - this is a lot, lot better. But, yes, very sad. I want to see some dirt come out on Santorum, but hands off it seems. The central planners are hoping to have him overshadow Paul, much as Huckabee did in '08. I am hoping we can make some headway, but the NH primary has been historically corrupt and - as we've seen in Iowa - things have only gotten worse. For nothing is secret that will not be revealed… |
Dick Tater User ID: 4830197 United States 01/05/2012 10:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | That is encouraging news. It's way past time for people to start voting according fiscal responsibilty and foreign policy instead of social agendas. Even if Paul doesn't get the nod, at least he will have made a small change in peoples thought process. |

Well, I found this a little weird when I heard it about Santorum. It does not seem to be a thing many would do, I don't know, what do you think??? ~~~Snip~~~ "Named for two archangels, Gabriel Michael was born prematurely, at 20 weeks, on Oct. 11, 1996, and lived two hours outside the womb. Upon their son's death, Rick and Karen Santorum opted not to bring his body to a funeral home. Instead, they bundled him in a blanket and drove him to Karen's parents' home in Pittsburgh. There, they spent several hours kissing and cuddling Gabriel with his three siblings, ages 6, 4 and 1 1/2. They took photos, sang lullabies in his ear and held a private Mass. "That's my little guy," Santorum says, pointing to the photo of Gabriel, in which his tiny physique is framed by his father's hand. The senator often speaks of his late son in the present tense. It is a rare instance in which he talks softly....." You hardly need any hard vote fixing with this type of sheep that can be herded so easily. NH will be a different story. Anonymous Coward User ID: 6474293 United States 01/06/2012 09:23 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | NH is coming up in just a few days (10th). Iowa was just a preference poll. Delegates won't be decided for months. NH is the first primary where delegate votes are at stake. Quoting: Girl Genius The good news is Paul is climbing. Mittens had a huge lead (as expected; he is gov of Mass and owns a house in NH) but now his lead is down to 14%. A strong second by Paul would be fantastic. Santorum is rising as well (ugh - please MSM, a little scrutiny here). The bad news is that NH is famous for vote fraud but hopefully with vote monitoring, we will be able to bring some of the fraud to light. Romney 38% Paul 24% Santorum 11% I just can't help following it all ... :kittypop: [link to www.thestatecolumn.com] Graph of poll results here: [link to media.washtimes.com] |

BBQ Guy User ID: 1410244 United States 01/06/2012 10:09 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hey GG; do you know if they run some of the voting off of computers in NH? If they do, watch for Mittens and Sanitarium to be in another dead heat. I really think the PTB will try to make it look like Paul is fading out of the Presidential race and discourage people enough to not "waste" a vote on him. "If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy"- James Madison "Joining the military does not mean that you will be defending the country. The purpose of the U.S. military should be to defend the United States. Period. Yet, one of the greatest myths ever invented is that the current U.S. military somehow defends our freedoms. First of all, our freedoms are not in danger of being taken away by foreign countries; if they are taken away it will be by our own government. It is not a country making war on us that we need to fear, it is our government making war on the Bill of Rights. And second, how is stationing troops in 150 different regions of the world on hundreds of U.S. military bases defending our freedoms? It is not the purpose of the U.S. military to change regimes, secure the borders of other countries, or spread democracy at gunpoint. The Department of Defense should first and foremost be the Department of Homeland Security."--Laurence Vance-- |

I really think the PTB will try to make it look like Paul is fading out of the Presidential race and discourage people enough to not "waste" a vote on him. Exactly. Well, if he doesn't make the ticket, I'm just going to write him in. There is no other choice. What a joke. As far as NH, hang on to your hats, it's going to be a bumpy ride. Paul will need an incredibly strong showing to finish in 2nd. But if he finishes even 3rd (in spite of really finishing solid second as will happen), he will still be in the top tier and move forward. NH has always been rigged. The question is - can we have a strong enough finish for Paul to make the discrepancy obvious? From Bev Harris: New Hampshire uses Black Box Voting for over 90% of its votes (Black Box Voting = concealed vote-counting machines. This violates New Hampshire's own constitution which states that the votes must be counted "in public meeting"). [link to blackboxvoting.org] For nothing is secret that will not be revealed… |
