As much as the guy bothers me some times, I can't help thinking about Apollo's comments that he "knows" government officials who say the atmosphere is thinning.

Seeing threads like this add to the worries I have when the weather in Southern Ontario is +0 almost everyday this winter, with temperatures going up to 5 this weekend.

Extremely abnormal and the fact people seem to not question it worries me even more.

"Oh what beautiful weather." This is Ontario, Canada, and this is the freezing cold part of the year, you should know that.

Just loaded my daily check of [link to theextinctionprotocol.wordpress.com] and the first article is headlined:

"Earth’s climate unraveling? Winter disappears across portions of the northern hemisphere"

Coincidences I do not like to see.

I was looking at Orion tonight and the star to the right of the belt (the one opposite beetlegeuse) wasn't there, I didn't notice really till it suddenly blinked on.

Nope. Sirius is laying on the couch, softly snoring as she normally does this time of night.

My Dog's name is Sirius named after some star... ;-)

For the last month we have had deep fog roll in about the same time the sun sets, we barely see the moon most nights this time of year. Forget stars.

NiP, I respect your views and how you stand by them but (and I mean this in a completely non-derogatory, friendly way...) you are truly batshit crazy.

I love it.

Re: Strange Siting With Sirius in North America?
I happened upon another interesting revelation about Sirius while doing research today. I noticed the unusually dramatic twinkling of Sirius last night, and commented that I thought I could see two points of light, i.e., two stars. I did not know until today that Sirius is in a binary system, and that the companion star is not visible to the naked eye.

I, without a doubt, was able to see two points of light, which, according to the experts, is not possible.

The blue/white/red sparkling object is really putting on a performance tonight in the Metropolitan New York - area, towards the Southeast (and over the Atlantic Ocean) its going nuts.

Also, the moon is intensely bright tonight, at 20:00 EST, it almost looked like twilight.

In my unprofessional opinion, methinks something might happen.

Same here where I live, Montana, no winter to speak of yet. A couple of snow storms, very mild weather. Tons of sunshine. I mean I am not complaining, it is a rather nice change, but a little unsettleing. I am afraid we will have a repeat of last years incredibly hot summer. We live in Montana because we are not lovers of heat. Last summer I thought I would die ! And with this winter being sooo incredibly mild, I fear what next summer will bring in temps. YUK ! Maybe I will have to move farther north! To Greenland or something.....sigh

NIP , I disagree with the above poster. I don't feel you ever explain anything , so there is nothing to appreciate. YOu just blurt things out, and expect belief on our part. Sure I can believe it is a Craft, it sure looks like it and Jupiter too. But how do you know this? And why should we believe you? Where does all of this supposed knowledge come from that you continually share on GLP? Some of us need more then just a " Oh that is not a star, that is a light ship" statement. And why are you so privy to so much info NIP ? I find it irritating, almost like a zealot Christian.

Re: Strange Siting With Sirius in North America?
Is anyone else noticing Sirius glowing incredibly bright tonight and flickering intensely? Could anyone in North America confirm if they see this or not? My wife and I noticed it at about 9:25pm CDT.

Sirius is located just below Orion, and is visible in the southern sky right now. It looks CRAZY... I realize this is an atmospheric disturbance but none of the other stars are having this effect that I can tell.

I sometimes wonder if you people have ever looked at the sky before, or is it just after reading threads on GLP that you bother to pay attention.

Sirius has always been noted for extreme twinkling when it's near the horizon. It's the brightest star in the sky, and when it's low, its light has a lot of atmosphere to pass through. Other bright stars do the same, and even planets can twinkle close to the horizon.

I've been an amateur astronomer fo over 40 years, and this is nothing new to me. There are also references to it in books going back hundreds of years.

Just because something's new to you doesn't mean it's never been seen before, or isn't understood. Please try to do a little research before posting...

I've been seeing some very weird stars in the sky the past couple of nights flickering like crazy and I've never seen Sirius brighter. One of the flickering ones was red. I've seen all of the above before but never like this.

I would think it OBVIOUS if there was that much methane in the air, man would in some big serious shit. MINDs please. the evidence of the craft is that they are obviously NOT stars, which do not turn of and on and blink and move around and change colors. I think thus the substantial evidence is right in front of you. I posted the image of Sirius in this thread, that is NOT a STAR or SUN. Astromut cannot resolve a better image because this is not 8.6 light years away. And the central portion of the image is not of the color patterns of stars.

I am wondering if it's connected to the insanely warm winter we are having. If the atmosphere is somehow different now. I've always known Sirius to be large and commanding but never 'stop dead in your tracks' when you glance in the general direction, like it has been recently.

 Quoting: Conspiracynut1

Jupiter varies in it's brightness based on several factors. All planets appear brighter/larger when they are closer to the Earth. Jupiter ranges from a faint orangish spot to a
thick orange sphere depending.

Right now it is a little larger than average I would say.
