Thank God I'm a woman! :).The stark unavoidable facts of what went on really took me down a few fuggin notches. What a waste that millions of people suffered and died so that I can shop and eat shitty food and get hypnotized by television and fuck up the world. What a tragedy it's still intensively happening on a global scale. How can that even be?? tortures me very soul. |

When you start to learn the actual history of this country it breaks your heart. And the fact is it's still going on. It hasn't stopped. It's just gotten more subtle. Like Jerry Mander said, to paraphrase, the genociders use lawyers now, not bullets. I was born into this and can't change history but I'm so, so sorry for what my ancestors did. |
