WTF -- sinkhole epidemic spreads worldwide!

You guys really have no idea about planetary scale, primarily because the majority of what you know you've learned from behind a computer screen.

Let's take a moment to examine, PLANETARY SCALE!

Earth's diameter is 8000 miles. I've never saw even one sinkhole that was a mile deep, most as you can see are mere feet deep, 20, 100, 300 feet. Seem large to a small wittle human being, but on a planetary scale - they're nothing!


Let's just speculate that one was a mile deep, which is unheard of, but lets just grant that extraordinary depth for the example.

That means it's 1/8000th the as deep, as earth is wide. Or, its 1/4000th, of the way to the core.

Now lets imagine that we have a beach ball that will represent our Earth, and let's say that beach ball is an extraordinary 3 feet wide (36 inches).

Each Inch of beach ball diameter is equal to 222 miles, and our sinkhole would be 1 mile, therefore our sinkhole on the beach ball would represent 1/222th of ONE inch, and remember, this is a big beach ball (3 feet).


Now, if we left our beach ball in an attic for a few years, only to come back and find it covered in a thick layer of dust, the layer of dust on top would actually represent a thicker depth than our sinkhole does.


Now that we've established that you guys are making a massive deal out of nothing, cause you have no grasp on planetary scale. Get a fuckin life, and quit worrying about the world ending.
