It is notable because it looks like fire and smoke...in other words destruction or something burning. And I was thinking about that just this morning while looking at it. Very strange to see the springs go muddy and now the name association. Could mean something dreadful is about to happen there. |

I know, but that's the way I'm "in touch" psychically, called several bad tragedies this way. I hate to admit it but more right then wrong. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 7407078 United States 01/07/2012 02:25 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | [link to www.nps.gov] The water from our springs carries a load of dissolved limestone. This gives a bluish tint. The deeper the water, the more blue, which is why 310 foot deep Blue Spring is the darkest shade. A sunny blue sky enhances the color, while an overcast one diminishes it. Muddy run-off after stormy weather can turn the spring water brown for days at a time, but fear not, blue will be back soon. Described here: [link to www.nps.gov] Can be normal, not saying it is this or every time, but it does happen. |
