8.5+ earthquake just HOURS AWAY

The two contenders for the next big quake are first, Pacific Northwest (Vancouver/Victoria/off the coast of Washington/OR) or Japan(In or South of Tokyo).

I think Cali is in no danger, compared to the others.

Personally, I think both will have a superquake in the next 3 years, too many signs.

Chalk this up - mag-5 off oregon Coast last March 2011, the big one is just waiting.

Very insightful. The 9.5 earthquake in Chile caused a tsunami over 220 feet high. I can't imagine a tsunami that high occurring in MODERN TIMES.

I didn't really believe in the 188 day cycle until I decided to do some research... What I found was truly horrifying. These earthquakes could all very well be connected:

(1) March 21st, 2012: Possible major earthquake (9.0+ in magnitude)
- 188 days = September 15th, 2011

(2) September 15th, 2011:
6.0 earthquake strikes New Zealand
6.2 earthquake strikes the East Coast of Honshu, Japan

- 188 days = March 11th, 2011

(3) March 11th, 2011: A 9.0 magnitude earthquake rocks Japan, sending a tsunami over seventy feet high that eventually causes tsunami warnings across the entire Pacific Ocean. The Earth’s axis also shifts with over 20,000 people were killed along with one of the worst Nuclear disasters in history following a nuclear meltdown due to the Fukushima Daiichi power plants.

Aside from the 188 day cycle, psychic Joseph Tittel also seems something catastrophic happening on that date: "Tonight I added that I feel one major Earthquake will take place very soon, next few weeks, possible around Poland or Norway. Personally, I think Alaska could have a major earthquake just based on two of the largest earthquakes that have ever been recorded. The subduction zone that unleashed Chile's massive 9.5 megaquake in 1960 unleashed an 8.8 in 2010. The subduction zone that caused Alaska's 9.2 earthquake has yet to trigger an 8.0+. Is this real? Is it possible that he knows about the 'scientific predition' (well, I can't find a better word for prediction, maybe calculation perhaps?) about the 'Big One' we all are expecting to hit the Tokai region anytime? That big EQ is overdue now (it had a historic periodicity every 100-150 years, last one was in 1854 and it could very likely hit the areas of Tokyo, Shizuoka and Nagoya.. and could also trigger the movement of other faults near it too (there are 5 separate sections). That makes me wonder, and it's a scary possibility.

Regarding Taketa, Banzai and Beppu, well I don't know about that, and if taken literally as name of cities, first thing that came into my mind were those active volcanoes in that area now (there are 5 active at the time, 2 of them, Sakurajima and Shinmoedake with a warning level 3 -of 5 possibles- and 3 volcanoes with warning level 2). Those are relatively near that area, but not that much. Just a thought that came to me.

And that link the OP post about a big and possible near 9.0 EQ for the next 30 years, at first I thought it was about that region I mentioned, but it's actually for Northeastern Japan, between Sanriku coast and Boso peninsula, so it's another big motive of concern.
