I'm in So. Cal and he said I should take my wife and children and head north east ASAP. He has been warned of an "impending geophysical event of great magnitude" by a college, apparently there are scientist and well-to-dos evacuating/fleeing the entire Baja peninsula.

We're leaving, but I didn't want to leave any of my GLP friends in the area in a tough spot without some warning.
