just as the meaning behind Christmas and Easter has never changed, it has always been a pagan, sun worship celebration.

Let's get started just a little, the abomination of desolation has come and will come

The statue Zeus in the Apocrypha story was anciently considered the abomination of desolation (see I Maccabees 1:54 & II Macc. 6:2).

1:54 Now on the fifteenth day of Chislev, in the one hundred and forty-fifth year, they erected a desolating sacrilege upon the altar of burnt offering. They also built altars in the surrounding cities of Judah,

6:2 and also to pollute the temple in Jerusalem and call it the temple of Olympian Zeus, and to call the one in Gerizim the temple of Zeus the Friend of Strangers, as did the people who dwelt in that place.

History is Prophecy, what has happened will happen in the future and is happening now

Ecc 3:15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and ELOHIYM requireth that which is past.

Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

so how does this relate to the pagan feasts of Easter and Christmas

In the USA ham is a traditional easter and christmas food among so called believers in the God of Israel (christians), Eating Swine's Flesh Defiling the Temple of Elohiym...just like the shadow of the Anti-Messiah did >ae

Isaiah 66:15 For, behold, YHWH will come with fire, and with His chariots like a whirlwind, to render His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire.

16 For by fire and by His sword will YHWH plead with all flesh: and the slain of YHWH shall be many.

17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith YHWH.

A most powerful video. Those who love Jesus Christ, it is TIME TO WAKE UP. It is time to cast off the false half-gospel, so called 'love gospel', which is nothing but the very opposite of what Christ taught!
Quoting: A Voice In The Wilderness

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
(John 13:34)

9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
(John 15:9-13)

And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

Probably the best thing you can do is find a Parallel Bible. It is a Bible which has two versions side my side, allowing you to easily compare verse for better understanding. This is the kind of Bible that I use.

I'm rather obsessive about translations. I personally prefer to use an Interlinear Bible.

Here is one online so you can see why it's such a powerful tool:

I think it was a good message. Everyone should examine their own hearts and minds so that they will be prepared to stand before the Lord when the day comes.

When we sin, we should repent and seek His forgiveness. But, at the same time, we know that we will never be perfect in this system, therefore be humble and know too that we are all sinners and all imperfect and not use the scriptures as a weapon to hurt others, but to try and lift others up in love, mercy and compassion as our Savior Jesus did with His own example.

Re: A Solemn CALL & WARNING to all Followers of Jesus Christ. We have very little time!
I fear that your post is utterly hopeless, Voice.

To declare obedience to His Law these days gets us labeled "legalizers" or "judaizers". Usually stated with contempt.

Modern Christians don't want to hear it. I prefer to call the vast majority of Christians "Paulians". Why? Because they, indeed, follow Paul, not HaMoshiach. This is demonstrated by the fact that any time you point out what Yahushua said concerning the law, they ALWAYS reply with "But Paul said ..." or quote something from Paul's letters.

Now, I'm not bashing poor ol' Paul here, even if it sounds like it. The problem comes from the fact that the RCC "cherry picked" and then applied a lot of spin to his letters as if they were scripture.

Most often when Paul's letters are saying that the law is not important to salvation it comes down to one of two things:

1) He is referring to Oral Torah ... aka the Talmud. Man made tradition that has been accepted by the Pharisee (aka Orthodox or Hasidic jewish people) as if it were YHWH's commandments.

or

2) He's trying to get Hebrews to understand that a gentile does not need to learn 100% Torah before being "saved". Upon the gentile's acceptance of Yahushua HaMoshiach, he is indeed "saved". However, it's expected that he will then work out his salvation with fear and trembling by learning the commandments and learning to follow them, aka "repentance".

I, personally, get quite frustrated by the "But Paul says ..." argument. I tend to look at it like this: Since when does a shift manager outrank the asst manager or general manager? So, even if Paul WAS saying that the law was abolished ... so what? The General manager (YHWH) says otherwise, as does the asst manager (Yahushua).

Let's take a look at what Yahushua says concerning the law:

Matt. 5:17-19 KJV
17 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

I personally prefer the JNT version because it's FAR more accurate of a translation:

Matt. 5:17-19 (JNT)
17 "Don't think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. 18 Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud or a stroke [smallest elements of the Hebrew alphabet] will pass from the Torah-not until everything that must happen has happened. 19 So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot [commandments] and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven."

Matthew 7:21-27 (ESV)
21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' 23 And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.' 24 "Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it."

A similar warning is found in Luke 13:24-27

Luke 13:24-27
24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

Matt. 7:23 And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'

Matt. 13:41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, 42 and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

Luke 13:27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

The word "iniquity" is tossed around quite often by pastors and traditional Christians ... but it seems that they ignore what the word really means.

"Iniquity" is the Greek is "Anomia".

A - Without.
Nomia - Law.

The Greek word translated "lawlessness" in the NASB and "transgression of the law" in the KJV is one and the same word - anomia - and is shown from Strong's lexicon to be:

458 anomia {an-om-ee'-ah}
from 459; TDNT - 4:1085,646; n f
AV - iniquity 12, unrighteousness 1, transgress the law + 4160 1, transgression of the law 1; 15
1) the condition of without law
1a) because ignorant of it
1b) because of violating it
2) contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness

Additionally, Thayer's Greek lexicon defines anomia the same as:

458 anomia {an-om-ee'-ah}
from 459; TDNT - 4:1085,646; n f
AV - iniquity 12, unrighteousness 1, transgress the law + 4060 1, transgression of the law 1; 15
1) the condition of without law
1a) because ignorant of it
1b) because of violating it
2) contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness

The point to grasp is that in Matthew 7:23 and 13:41 HaMoshiach DIRECTLY condemns, in an undeniable FUTURE reference, those who have "contempt and violation of the Law" and/or who promote "the condition without Law (torah)". Those are not my words. Those are the words of Yahushua HaMoshiach, and individuals who do not like them provide proof of their choice to reject and oppose Him!

Though the precise same Greek word, anomia, is not used in Luke 13:27 for the term of "workers of iniquity" as shown in the KJV, a very similar word is used. That Greek word is adikia. Among Thayer's Greek Lexicion's definition of this word is: a deed violating law and justice, act of unrighteousness. Furthermore, given the almost identical nature of the three statements we can be reasonably certain that the same meaning applies to all – that meaning being “contempt and violation of Torah.”

There are many other examples coming right from the mouth of the Messiyah these Christians claim to follow ... yet they deny His words in favor of "numbered sound bytes" taken out of context from the letters of Paul. Often quoting "All scripture is good for reproof." ... failing to comprehend that when that letter was written, it's VERY unlikely that Paul was referring to his own letters when writing that statement. At the time, the ONLY "scripture" was TORAH.

It always makes me kind of shake my head in amazement when I hear traditional Christians today say things like "Dancing is a sin!" or some other insane garbage ... all the while totally ignoring the 4th commandment to keep holy the sabbath day. Little do these poor, misguided folks realize, they're following the RCC when attending church on the venerable day of the Sun.

Well, I think I've rambled long enough. So, in closing: I don't mean to offend or upset anyone. To paraphrase a line I heard once: "I bring you only the truth, does my bringing you the truth make me your enemy?"
 Quoting: Sir Phydeau

Great Post! I 100% agree! :) I wish more christians would look into this more for themselves instead of just going to their pastor or family which will always call them "Cultish" or "Jewish"/"Legalizer". Even though the signof cults is NOT questioning, and the ones that found this to be true HAVE to question their faith.

I am on the fence about Paul too... I don't think his definition of Love is accurate and has hurt many believers on what real biblical Love is. It might not be patient, kind, or gentle, but Yeshua and YHVH were not always either(examples are numerous, read any books other than paul's). And if he was in fact saying the Law of YHVH is null and void, then it's easy to say YES, he was a LIAR AND A DECEIVER. Worth looking more into at least...

Lisa, the statement in bold is a great lie put out by the enemy of souls himself.

Jesus Christ sacrificed everything to save you FROM sin, not to save you IN sin. The very point of everything Jesus did was to ensure that you can have 100% victory over all sin, self, and all defects of character. It is possible to attain to a perfect faith, perfect trust in God, and a perfect character, exactly as Jesus had done, all through His blood and Holy Spirit. Yea, it is not only possible, but promised to those who will surrender themselves entirely to the Great I AM.

His very command makes it plain in Matthew 5:48, "Be ye therefore perfect, as my Father in heaven is perfect.". Jesus did not sacrifice everything just so you can be stuck in a sin-repent, sin-repent, sin-repent cycle. To remain such is to trample upon the very cross and sacrifice of Jesus. To deny that we can have full victory over all sin and live a holy life through Jesus Christ is to say that sin is more powerful than God, for His power cannot keep you from sinning! It is one of the greatest lies and deceptions of today, and you, like most, have swallowed it hook, line, and sinker.

Read the book of Revelation. To whom are all the promises made? HE THAT OVERCOMETH, HE THAT OVERCOMETH, HE THAT OVERCOMETH. The message is clear. And those who, through their choice, but through JEHOVAH's strength and power, attain complete victory over sin, and put sin away from their lives entirely, are spoken of as the 144,000, those who "follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth." We need to be in that group if we love Jesus Christ.

Interesting post - TY!

I am struggling with this idea as well...but then I look at:

1 John 1:8 If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth.

How do you reconcile this verse with the ability to attain sinless perfection in this life?

Sometimes I sin, and don't even know it. Sometimes I sin, and never even realize it. Sometimes I sin just because I"m rotten, and later I repent because I felt bad about it.

I can't be perfect on my own, that's why I need Jesus.

Interesting post - TY!

I am struggling with this idea as well...but then I look at:

1 John 1:8 If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth.

How do you reconcile this verse with the ability to attain sinless perfection in this life?
 Quoting: jdb

Let me quote this for you, because it answers your question in a better way than I can.

"Those who are really seeking to perfect Christian character will never indulge the thought that they are sinless. Their lives may be irreproachable, they may be living representatives of the truth which they have accepted; but the more they discipline their minds to dwell upon the character of Christ, and the nearer they approach to His divine image, the more clearly will they discern its spotless perfection, and the more deeply will they feel their own defects.

When persons claim that they are sanctified, they give sufficient evidence that they are far from being holy. They fail to see their own weakness and destitution. They look upon themselves as reflecting the image of Christ, because they have no true knowledge of Him. The greater the distance between them and their Saviour, the more righteous they appear in their own eyes.

While with penitence and humble trust we meditate upon Jesus, whom our sins have pierced and our sorrows have burdened, we may learn to walk in His footsteps. By beholding Him we become changed into His divine likeness. And when this work is wrought in us, we shall claim no righteousness of our own, but shall exalt Jesus Christ, while we hang our helpless souls upon His merits." The Sanctified Life, p.8

Amen!

Complete sanctification comes from the 'duality' of effort. God gives us the cleansing blood, the power, and the strength. We have to act upon that which He has given us, and co-operate with Him in the process of sanctification. It is a 50-50 partnership.

We are to be united to God as a man is united to a wife. They become one unit, but one person does not do everything in the marriage. It is a dual effort on both parties, in order to achieve a perfect marriage. Thus, we need to unite with God, and remove those things from our lives which draw us away from Jesus, or which are sinful, and which go against the principles of purity and righteousness laid out in God's word. It is something as little as a music CD, or a movie DVD, or as big as an entire career.

How much am I willing to practice self-denial and self-sacrifice, out of my love for God, and thus follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ?

Do we love our religion, our own ways, or ourselves more than Yah's Laws? it does not say you have to be perfect, but it does say you must strive, overcome, take up your cross, and FOLLOW HIM!
Make yourself better everyday.

Re: A Solemn CALL & WARNING to all Followers of Jesus Christ. We have very little time!
Everyone who believes on Christ, everyone who relies on the keeping power of a risen Saviour that has suffered the penalty pronounced upon the transgressor, everyone who resists temptation and in the midst of evil copies the pattern given in the Christ life, will through faith in the atoning sacrifice of Christ become a partaker of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. Everyone who by faith lives in harmony with God's commandments and divine principles, will reach the condition of sinlessness in which Adam lived before his transgression.

It is by overcoming the world, the flesh, and the devil that any student comes into possession of that knowledge that gives him access to the tree of life. We must all learn that we must overcome as Christ overcame in our behalf. All pride is sin, and must be expelled from the soul. Christ came to cut us loose from the originator of sin. He came to give us a mastery over the power of the destroyer, and to save us from the sting of the serpent. Through his imparted righteousness he would place all human beings where they will be on vantage ground. He came to this earth and lived the law of God that man might stand in his God-given manhood, having complete mastery over his natural inclination to self-indulgence and to the selfish ideas and principles which tarnish the soul. The Physician of soul and body, he will give wisdom and complete victory over warring lusts. He will provide every facility, that man may perfect a completeness of character in every respect.

I agree that we should do our personal best to not sin, but at the same time acknowledge our own imperfection and glorify Jesus because of it.

If we could be perfect and sin free on our own, Jesus wouldn't have had to come and die for us. But, He did because of our sinful nature.

But, we should do our best to serve Him to the best of our ability.

But, I'll tell you......when I'm focusing on sin, I sin even more! I sin BY focusing on sin! When you make sin the focus of your life, you focus in the wrong direction. You start to only think about sin, and you start looking for the sin in everyone else too, which is actually sin.

This is the trap that the Pharisees fell into.
The only way is to focus on Jesus, Mercy, Forgiveness and Love because those things are pure and holy. If you focus your attention on those things, and those things only, you will become those things.

Kinda the "you are what you eat" principle.

It's like Peter. As soon as he took his eyes off of Jesus, he sank. You are spot on! hf

But as long, as we don't fall into the extreme and condemn all conversation about sin. Sin has to be addressed, and it has to be exposed. If no one is told and shown what sin is, how will they know that they need Jesus Christ? I think Ephesians 5:11 brings it out very clearly, "And have no FELLOWSHIP with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them."

The keyword here is fellowship. We should not walk on Satan's "enchanted ground". We should not walk into temptation or dwell on sin, for by beholding we become changed. We need to be aware of the deceptions which have hypnotized the world, which are destroying Christian churches, and which are destroying our homes, families, and ourselves. Once we are made aware and understand such things to be sin, to be of Satan, to be a source of temptation, we must have no fellowship with it, we must not partake of it willingly, or else Satan will have legal ground to be around us and influence us.

A well-respect and loved Protestant said in the 1800s, "There is nothing that Satan fears so much as that we should become acquainted with his devices." We must keep our hearts and minds open and remember that it is an evil, occult world we are living in. We need to be aware of what Satan is attempting to do to us, all the while keeping our eyes and our minds and hearts upon the Author and the Finisher of our faith, Prince Immanuel.

Thanks for your comments Lisa. Have a blessed week! hf

 Quoting: sojourner232

I have a different understanding of the Abomination of Desolation, for it is, when at the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD by Titus, when Rome stood in God's holy ground and had the ability, through the power of the state, to execute its enemies at will.

At the end of time, the Abomination of Desolation will be when PAPAL Rome, will stand where only God is to stand, taking the place of God, by commanding men to worship a certain way, and being able to use the power of the state to execute at will the faithful believers who are considered its enemies by refusing to go along with its mandates, for it violates the Law of God and their conscience. The laws spoken of are the Mark of the Beast laws...

"Jesus did not come to change the law, but he came to explain it, and that very fact shows that it remains, for there is no need to explain that which is abrogated." - Charles Spurgeon

"Jesuit Adam Weishaupt established the modern version of the Illuminati specifically to be a front organization behind which the Jesuits could hide. After being formally abolished by Pope Clement XIV in 1773, the Jesuits used the Illuminati and other organizations to carry out their operations. Thus, the front organizations would be blamed for the trouble caused by the Jesuits."

Re: A Solemn CALL & WARNING to all Followers of Jesus Christ. We have very little time!

Have a blessed week! hf

Absolutely! It's finding that balance, that's the hard part.......lol. You can't condone sin, but you can't focus on it either, so finding that balance is the key.

I wish someone would have explained all that to me years ago.

I would fall into condemnation and from that low point I was always vulnerable to sin, as from that point I was without a solid footing. When I tried to crawl back up and justify myself through an adherence to the law, I became commendatory of others. It was a vicious cycle.

Then things took a drastic turn in my life. It was more than I could shoulder, so I had no choice but to begin to operate under the power and strength of Christ. That required me to finally put faith into operation and place a total reliance upon Him. The surprise was that I finally understood what the peace and joy promised was all about. Day to day there was nothing to fear because a way was already prepared for me, I just needed His light to show the way.

From that point I simply wanted more. It would seem selfish, if it were not that the truth of the matter is that more from Him requires more of me given to Him. He in me, and I in Him; the interpenetration of the believer and their Saviour.

I am dead to the law and sin, but His statutes, dictates, testimonies I hold dear because, as He is holy, so must I be Holy to maintain and grow our relationship. Where I used to fear sin, I now fear even the tiniest hint of separation from Him who gives to me so richly. It is not selfish to want these great things of God because they can only be obtained through selflessness.

So, don't allow yourself to ever become despondent over sin. Always look to His glory to lift you. Never neglect relationship with Him, or the reading of His Word by which He wishes to speak to you each day. If you do these things and hear what He has to say to you, your growth will be phenomenal; far beyond what you thought was possible in your life. Condemnation is selling God short.

That reminds me of a book by the puritan Thomas Brooks, "Precious Remedies Against Satan's Devices". The enemies tricks haven't changed since that time in the garden.

Re: A Solemn CALL & WARNING to all Followers of Jesus Christ. We have very little time!
Nice thread, and a very important one.

I just read through the whole NT yesterday and I saw it with new eyes.

Here are some thoughts:

Luke 6:40

The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.

Ephesians 5:8

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.

Galatians 6:7

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

James 1:22

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

James 2:17

In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

1 Peter 1:16

for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”

1 Peter 2: 1 and 15

Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind.

For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people.

1 John 1:5-6

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.

I John 2:6 and 28

He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.

1 John 3:16-18

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

1 John 4:7

This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus.

**********************************************************

Some final thoughts from the exact representation of God Himself:

Matthew 3:8-10

Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.

It is time to put on the mind of Christ.

What you're telling the Jesus believers, is exactly what tptb want to to do > they invented religion <

ASAP

use your Wisdom to establish your relationship with Our Creator(~) > that's God's Will(~)

peace
We get the powers over us that we've earned collectively. Humanity, as a whole, is self-interested, shallow, ignorant, violent and immoral; small wonder, therefore, that our leaders (secret or otherwise) reflect that. You want better leaders, become better people.

I forgive myself, I Love myself, I'm sorry, Please forgive me, I forgive you, I love you, Thank you.

God Bless You;
I Bless You;
Bless Yourself(~).

Love is the answer ~ Peace be with You.
